JFAO is a charitable organization established in 1944, originally with the support of the rural extension branch of the Ontario gov't, with a membership of approximately 10,000 at its peak. Today JFAO is funded solely through support of members, donors & sponsors, including our Diamond Level partners Dairy Farmers of Ontario, OFA, & Scotiabank. Anyone wishing to re-establish a JF club in their area or learn how to join an existing club should contact the JFAO office through membership@jfao.on.ca or 519-780-JFAO. The only requirements are that club members age 15-29 participate in a basic program of leadership development and community service. The Nature Trust of British Columbia is a leading land conservation organization based in BC. We acquire ecologically significant land through purchase, donation, covenant and lease. Then we care for this land in order to protect the natural diversity of wildlife and plants, and their critical habitats. Since 1971, The Nature Trust along with our partners has invested more than $70 million to secure over 69,000 hectares (170,000 acres) of land. This includes over 23,000 hectares (56,000 acres) that is owned, leased or covenanted and over 46,000 hectares (113,000 acres) that is under grazing licenses for our Biodiversity Ranches in the Okanagan.

Sacred Heart School of Halifax is a Catholic independent school, co-ed preschool to grade 6, girls' only grade 7-12, boys' only grade 7-12, Sacred Heart School of Halifax stimulates young minds and fosters a lifelong love of learning. The Asia Pacific Foundation of Canada, created by an Act of Parliament in 1984, is an independent, not-for-profit think-tank on Canada’s relations with Asia. The Foundation functions as a knowledge broker, bringing together people and knowledge to provide current and comprehensive research, analysis and information on Canada’s transpacific relations. It promotes dialogue on economic, security, political and social issues, fostering informed decision-making in the Canadian public, private and non-governmental sectors. The Foundation also provides grants to support policy research and informed discussion on Canada’s relations with Asia.

The Hearing Foundation of Canada is a national charitable organization established in 1979, led by a volunteer Board of Directors drawn from the business and medical communities, many of whom have personal experience with hearing loss.

The Children's Aid Society of Hamilton was established in 1894 as a non-profit, charitable organization focussing on the well-being and protection of children. The CAS is mandated under The Child and Family Services Act of Ontario to provide child protection services in our community. This Society is funded 100% by the Province of Ontario, through the Ministry of Children and Youth Services. The Society is responsible for the investigation and assessment of all allegations of physical, emotional or sexual abuse and neglect towards children and the management of a case when a child is taken into care. The Society provides supportive counselling to the family and child, in order to help keep the child in their home.

CCNB has been at the forefront of environmental action in New Brunswick since 1969. We are a membership-based organization with charitable status in Canada. Our members are citizens who care about the future of our planet - citizens who want to support environmental protection in the Maritimes. We work on two fronts: 1. We act as citizen watchdogs for the public good, safeguarding our land, air and water. 2. Through research and education we develop and promote solutions to pollution and resource destruction.

JMJ Children's Fund is supporting children in schools in Ghana, India and Malawi. We are also helping to provide food for children in a Remand Home in Nigeria, with its attached orphanage. JMJ has been supporting a program called Youth Alive which teaches young people in Malawi how to fight AIDS.

Guide Dog Users of Canada (GDUC) helps guide dog users to maximize the benefits of mobility with a guide dog so that they may participate more fully in Canadian society. Open to guide dog users and all those interested in furthering their cause, GDUC intends to become a voice for Canadian guide dog users and a centre of excellence on the activities, needs, and accomplishments of persons who are blind, partially sighted, or deaf-blind, and assisted by guide dogs. The Community Foundation of Nova Scotia is a public charitable foundation created by and for the people of Nova Scotia.   We engage in three core activities:   * we establish and maintain endowment funds on behalf of private donors, businesses, charities, and communities which, in turn, support registered charities and other eligible recipients within the province of NS;   * we engage in strategic grant-making; and * we provide leadership with respect to a broad range of community issues, connecting people who care with causes that matter.   We are a member of Community Foundations of Canada, which represents a network of 168 community foundations nationally, and who together hold close to $2.5 Billion in assets.
