FLAP is a charitable not-for-profit, founded in 1993 to address the issue of bird collisions with human-built structures. Since its inception, FLAP volunteers have recovered over 59,000 birds from 166 species, all victims of collisions with a handful of buildings in the Greater Toronto Area. It is unsettling to add that 64 of these species are in serious population decline. Our dedication has placed bird collisions with buildings on the wildlife conservation map, and in doing so, has proven this issue to be the leading cause of bird death across North America. As a world-first organization, FLAP has mobilized the NGO, business, educational and government sectors to find progressive ways to protect birds from the hazards of our built environment. FLAP has created models for replicability of both our awareness and rescue initiatives, like those now running strong in New York, Chicago, Montreal and Minneapolis. Meeker Memorial Hospital Foundation (MMHF) is organized and operated exclusively for charitable purposes. More specifically, the Foundation's primary role is to secure philanthropic resources to help maintain, improve and expand health care services for our patients, their families, and the Meeker County community.

Our goal at Missouri Abortion Fund (formerly Gateway Women's Access Fund) is to provide public education and support for women needing reproductive health services, primarily by providing financial assistance to Missouri residents who cannot afford the full cost of abortion care.

Unite to Light aims to bring light to people without electricity across the world. The organization focuses on the neediest of the needy: children learning to read, midwives and health clinics, and disaster response. Founded in 2010, Unite to Light has delivered 75,000 lights to 65 countries.

"Connecting the Unconnected" - to provide e-mail to remote health and education facilities via solar-powered HF-Radio links - to identify & train indiginous organizations with which to partner to provide HF-Radio E-Mail communications to/from the rest of the e-mail world

Heights Tree People is an all‑volunteer nonprofit that supplies and plants trees (primarily free front‑yard trees) in Cleveland Heights and nearby “Heights” neighborhoods to rebuild urban tree canopy, improve neighborhood health and resilience, and share tree‑care knowledge with residents.

NECEF was founded in 1984. The organization is a volunteer based organization that operates on two broad defining objectives: to promote a greater understanding of history, culture and contemporary situation in the Middle East, focusing on the Arab World; and, to fund humanitarian, educational, development and health related projects in the region.

LOKA HITHAM MAMA KARANEEYAM (little for self, everything else for society) Hindu Seva Pratishthana (HSP) is committed to the upliftment of the under-served and the people with special needs without any discrimination on the basis of caste, creed or religion. Through service HSP aims to bring about a transformation in the society where people and communities will be self-reliant. The instruments of this change are Sevavratis - young men and women volunteers - many of whom dedicate their lives fully to the noble cause of serving the society in this area. Sevavratis, in the course of their training at HSP, realize, imbibe qualities like patriotism, perseverance and humility, and acquire the skills in working areas like Rural Development, Eradication of untouchability, Drive against alcoholism, Literacy, Child Education, Common Health Education, Individual and Family Counselling, Propagating Yoga and Spoken Samskruta language, Rehabilitation of the Mentally Retarded and Physically handicapped and Street Children, and Environmental protection. Since its inception in 1980, HSP has been constantly expanding its activities, covering more people in towns and villages, and ensuring the co-operation and participation of local people so that the services are effective and benefits are long lasting.

The Child and Nature Alliance of Canada is a network of organizations and individuals who are working to connect children to nature through education, advocacy, programming, policy, research, and collaboration. Our vision is that all children and families in Canada are connected with nature and the outdoors in order to enhance their health and well-being.
