Lake Lanier Association’s mission is to protect Lake Lanier and its watershed ensuring a clean, full and safe Lake Lanier that enhances the lake’s economic value to Georgia. The association strives to preserve the quality and quantity of the water for all users who rely on the lake and its watershed to enhance their quality of life. A 501(c)(3) non-profit organization, the Lake Lanier Association seeks to fulfill its mandate of protecting the quality and quantity of Lake Lanier through education, action, and advocacy.

Our goal is to bring tree equity to communities that lack natural tree canopy by establishing tiny native forests in and around the Chicago metropolitan area.We use the Miyawaki method of tree planting to bring the benefits of forests to more communities. Our goal is to improve tree equity as defined by American Forests.Everyone deserves trees and the health, climate and social benefits they provide.
TIRF is a national, independent charitable road safety institute. Since its inception in 1964, TIRF has become internationally recognized for its accomplishments in identifying the causes of road crashes and developing programs and policies to address them effectively. Our work in reducing the risks for young drivers through such measures as graduated licensing, and our work on reducing the problems of drinking and driving through such measures as ignition interlocks and graduated penalties has won international acclaim. Other areas where TIRF’s work is reducing deaths and injuries include driver improvement programs, motorcycle safety, driver education and training, elderly road users and bicycle safety.
Our Vision: the Grand River watershed will be the finest example in Canada of water quality and conservation, recreation, habitat restoration and community support for this precious resource.
SDWF is a registered charitable organization. To reaffirm and promote all people's right to safe drinking water. With a focus on developing partnerships with rural communities throughout Canada and around the world, we intend to effect change at the municipal, provincial, and federal levels as well as within civil society and industries involved in the protection and production of public water supplies. We will deliver high quality, hands-on educational programs to thousands of classrooms in order to educate students, the leaders of tomorrow, about drinking water quality issues and solutions.
