The Get Growing Foundation is a 501c3 creating gardens, educational programming and year-round outreach to the public, with a particular focus on today's youth. In collaboration with the Chicago Flower & Garden Show®, GGF raises awareness and funding for hands-on programs specifically designed to cultivate understanding and provide practical advice in the areas of horticulture, gardening and conservation. The Quesnel Community Foundation is a public charity that gives grants to projects to help improve or address an issue in our community. We have a permanent Community Investment fund, which will never be spent. To date, we have given out $175,000 in grants to deserving community groups since we were founded in 2001. We are autonomous and governed by a volunteer board of local leaders. We are a member of Community Foundations of Canada and receive advice and assistance from them, as well as the Vancouver Foundation.
