The Snake River Alliance serves as Idaho’s nuclear watchdog and Idaho’s champion for renewable and nuclear-free energy. We raise community awareness about the dangers of nuclear waste, weapons and power while working to identify and promote sustainable alternatives. We do our work through advocacy, collaboration, education and grassroots organizing.
STCL began in 1987, was officially incorporated in 1992, and is a non-profit, Registered Canadian Charity (1996) based in the Upper Fraser River of the Robson Valley, between the Rocky and Cariboo Mountains of British Columbia, and the towns of Prince George and Jasper. Our goal is to protect ecosystems of old growth cedar, British Columbia’s provincial tree, which scientists say face extinction in less than 15 years.
To inspire innovative, transnational solutions to critical Mesoamerican reef issues through providing meaningful, long-term financial support and trustworthy reef management advice so that future generations can enjoy and benefit from a thriving reef.
