Our mission is to provide safe drinking water and hygienic sanitation to rural communities in Africa. By working in partnership with local organisations and communities, we empower people out of poverty; independently and sustainably. By having a strong working relationship with the communities in which we work, we listen to their requirements, provide them with tools, and engage them in the ongoing process. We ensure sustainability by running programmes alongside our projects, such as a Water Management Committee and a health education programme.

Entrepreneurs du Monde, founded in 1998, is a French public interest association which works with populations in developing countries. The organisation helps thousands of women and men living in extremely difficult circumstances to improve their living conditions, by supporting their own entrepreneurial ventures and giving them access to products which can bring significant health, economic and environmental benefits. Entrepreneurs du Monde helps these people create the conditions they need to become successful, and in turn make economic and social progress.

The vision of SAFECO is to contribute to a Congolese society where women and adolescent girls in general, and in particular indigenous peoples and women living with disabilities, live in peace, have access to quality health care, to clean water, to an improved livelihood, to quality education, equal rights, and where the rights of nature are respected. SAFECO's mission aims to improve the conditions in which women, adolescent girls, women with disabilities and indigenous women in our society live. Since its beginning, SAFECO has focused on empowering and educating girls and women through information and communication technologies.

The mission of the Alliance for Nuclear Responsibility is as follows: The primary objectives and purposes of this organization shall be to educate the public on energy choices and to reduce the danger associated with nuclear energy and nuclear waste and to take specific actions, including representing the interests of residential customers in California administrative proceedings, related to assuring public health from unsafe exposure to ionizing radiation. The mission of the Alliance for Nuclear Responsibility Legal Fund is as follows: To amend state laws to prohibit nuclear power plant license renewals in the seismically active state of California and restrict the amount of radioactive waste stored on site to the amount permitted for the duration of the current operating licenses;

The German Red Cross co-operates with other national Red Cross/ Red Crescent societies, the International Federation of Red Cross/ Red Crescent Societies and the International Committee of the Red Cross in numerous missions concerning: - Emergency Response (including quick assignment of pre-trained personnel and pre-packaged material, provision of relief materials, donations and contributions in cash and in kind to partner organizations) - Rehabilitation after disasters (Reconstruction of houses, medical facilities, and livelihood after disasters) - Development projects with focus on Disaster Risk Reduction / Climate Change Adaptation, Water and Sanitation, Basic Health Care, Livelihood and Capacity Building within Partner Red Cross/Red Crescent Societies and communities.

It is a Mozambican NGO that started its activities in 1997 and was officially recognized in 2004. It is one of the largest Mozambican NGO's with 167 employees. Esmabama's primary goal is to improve the living conditions of people living in the southern part of the Sofala province, by implementing educational, health and income generation projects/activities. In 2006, Esmabama co-founded the Distance Learning Courses of the Catholic University of Beira. It also implements projects supported by several donors, including: EU, GIZ, ADA, PEPFAR. Esmabama reaches populations of about 500.000 people, being 8.000 of them students and 1.700 poor children living at the boarding schools located at the 4 localities (Estaquinha, Mangunde, Barada and Machanga), run by the Association.

Since our establishment in 1984, SIBAT envisions a just and sovereign society that upholds genuine development through people-based science & technology. SIBAT commits to develop, promote and popularize the application of appropriate technologies towards attaining village-level sustainable development in poor communities. As such, SIBAT have gained significant breakthroughs in sustainable agriculture, renewable energy, genetic conservation and water systems development. By the end of 2022, SIBAT's goals are: 1. Self-reliant and resilient communities that have adopted appropriate technologies and can adapt to the effects of climate change. 2. Institutionalized structures and mechanisms that support the appropriate technology (AT) efforts of SIBAT and partner poor communities. Our vision is to help build a just society and our mission to secure rights, health and development for marginalized people. We work with the most disadvantaged people, giving priority to women and children - people living with HIV, tuberculosis and leprosy; Dalits (literally 'broken people' - the 'untouchables' of India) and the most discriminated among them; Tribals (indigenous people), women in prostitution, transgendered people, sexual minorities (LGBT), children at risk and people with disability. Our strategy is to mainstream gender, child rights, disability and the needs of the most disadvantaged people of the area. We provide direct services to fill gaps in existing facilities where necessary. But the main strategy is to encourage and support community volunteers and community based organizations to advocate for their rights and entitlements.
