The Green Burial Association of Maryland (GBAM) promotes environmentally sustainable Green Burial options throughout Maryland. We support this Mission through public education, promotion of and legislative advocacy for green and hybrid burial grounds, and promoting green practices throughout the funeral industry. We envision a future in which everyone has access to funeral and burial options that are environmentally sustainable and grounded in evidence-based information.

Friends of Warner Parks is dedicated to the preservation, protection, and stewardship of the Warner Parks. It works to protect the natural and historical integrity of the area by supporting recreational activities, maintaining and enhancing its features and promoting programs that inspire appreciation and conservation of the Parks.

Our main objectives are: To defend the environment and conserve biodiversity. To rescue and rehabilitate wild fauna that has fallen victim to trafficking and abuse. To appropriately care for all wild animals that are rescued from captivity. To coordinate and carry out research and education programmes that will support and contribute to the conservation of our ecosystem.
