The Bob Marshall Wilderness Foundation connects Americans with their wilderness heritage by providing access to and stewardship of one of the world's most spectacular places -Montana's Bob Marshall Wilderness Complex, the crown jewel of the Wilderness System. We help hundreds of hard-working volunteers, including youth, develop a land ethic and give back to the wilderness by opening trails, restoring heavily used areas, maintaining historic structures and fighting weeds. Active wilderness stewardship is our mission. TennGreen Land Conservancy (formerly the Tennessee Parks & Greenways Foundation) is an accomplished, 501(c)(3) nonprofit land trust dedicated to protecting Tennessee’s natural treasures. Founded in 1998, we are the oldest accredited, statewide land trust in Tennessee. We serve all Tennesseans, and through collaboration with members, private landowners, local municipalities, and state and federal agencies, we work to create parks, establish wildlife corridors, expand existing protected public lands, and enhance public recreation opportunities. We believe that we must do more to protect our natural world so that future generations can enjoy the ecologically-rich, beautiful, and historically-significant treasures that make Tennessee unique.

The Foundation for National Parks & Wildlife has a simple mission - to create parks and save species. In creating parks, we work with State and Federal governments to identify potential land purchases, and then assist with funds to acquire that land. We don't hold any land - we pass it straight over to the Government to add to the National Park portfolio and it is then managed by the state rangers. In saving species, we work extensively with volunteers, scientists, governments, local communities and other organisations to deliver community-based conservation projects and research nation-wide, including developing corridors for native animals, connecting disparate groups of species to allow them to survive and thrive. Partnership is at the very heart of our philosophy and is central to everything we do.

Purpose The purpose of the Nebraska Game and Parks Commission is: To promote, provide, preserve and manage within the State of Nebraska parks, recreation areas, historical parks and structures, wildlife management areas, rest stops, open spaces, camping areas, agricultural lands, game and fish hatcheries, natural resources, scenic area, habitat areas, conservation and ecological areas, game farms, recreation grounds and waters and all things pertaining thereto; To preserve or aid in the preservation of all types of wild nature, including natural areas, features, objects, flora and fauna, and biotic communities; To establish nature reserves or other protected areas to be used for scientific, educational and aesthetic purposes; To promote the conservation and proper use of natural resources; To engage in or promote the study of plant and animal communities and of other phases of ecology, natural history, conservation, and fish and wildlife management; To promote education in the fields of nature preservation and conservation; To educate and act as a resource for governmental entities, public officials and the general public with respect to parks, recreation, open space, fish and wildlife management, conservation, and ecological, historical and natural resources; To contribute to and cooperate with the Nebraska Game and Parks Commission and other private and governmental organizations duly authorized to carry on activities which aid or benefit the Nebraska Game and Parks Commission; To pre-acquire real and personal property earmarked for government purchase until public funds become available.
