The Coalition to Restore Coastal Louisiana is a nonprofit organization whose mission is to drive bold, science-based action to sustain a dynamic coastal Louisiana through engagement and advocacy. Recognizing that Louisiana’s coastal land-loss will have dramatic impacts on the nation’s energy, navigation and fisheries interests, CRCL works at the state, local and federal level to ensure that restoring and protecting coastal Louisiana is a top priority for our state and the nation. We facilitate and fund actual restoration projects and we work diligently to raise awareness and educate others about the importance of preserving and restoring coastal Louisiana.

AVSA was organized to stimulate widespread interest in the propagation and culture of African violets, to promote ways and means for the distribution of all varieties and species, and to gather and publish reliable and practical information concerning the culture and propagation of the African violet. AVSA is the International Cultivar Registration Authority for the genus Saintpaulia. Information about AVSA’s many publications, services and activities is available in the African Violet Magazine, from the AVSA Office, and from the official website (www.avsa.org). The African Violet Society of America, Inc. (AVSA) was organized on November 8, 1946, and incorporated on June 30, 1947. The African Violet Society of America Inc. is a 501(c)(3) charitable organization.

The mission of Friends of the Portland Memory Garden is "To enhance the lives of individuals with memory disorders and their caregivers by maintaining the Portland Memory Garden and providing therapeutic and educational activities."

To improve and; maintain the ecological health of the Poudre River watershed through community collaboration.

We are citizen stewards of the James River Park.  We do this by providing ongoing support for conservation, enhancement, and recreational enjoyment of the James River Park System, while protecting its natural and historic environments.

Science Alliance for Valuing the Environment An educational consortium for environmental sustainability

The Snake River Alliance serves as Idaho’s nuclear watchdog and Idaho’s champion for renewable and nuclear-free energy. We raise community awareness about the dangers of nuclear waste, weapons and power while working to identify and promote sustainable alternatives. We do our work through advocacy, collaboration, education and grassroots organizing.

Abalimi is a Volunteer Association working to empower the disadvantaged through its organic Urban Agriculture program & projects. We support our target groups' ability to replicate their success and transform their lives in their urban and rural environments, through the following Key Result Areas: resource support; training; organisation building; facilitation of partnerships; research, monitoring and evaluation.

Since 1997, the Kasiisi Project has aided education in and around Kibale National Park in rural western Uganda, East Africa. Founded initially as a link between the research-based Kibale Chimpanzee Project and the local community, the Kasiisi Project now works with several research groups in and around the park to target critical issues for the survival of the forest and support of the local population. We support early childhood education, promote conservation and health education, provide daily school lunches, train teachers, encourage literacy through libraries and computer usage, fund secondary school and college scholarships, and address the special needs of girls.
