The Coalition to Restore Coastal Louisiana is a nonprofit organization whose mission is to drive bold, science-based action to sustain a dynamic coastal Louisiana through engagement and advocacy. Recognizing that Louisiana’s coastal land-loss will have dramatic impacts on the nation’s energy, navigation and fisheries interests, CRCL works at the state, local and federal level to ensure that restoring and protecting coastal Louisiana is a top priority for our state and the nation. We facilitate and fund actual restoration projects and we work diligently to raise awareness and educate others about the importance of preserving and restoring coastal Louisiana.

Since 1997, the Kasiisi Project has aided education in and around Kibale National Park in rural western Uganda, East Africa. Founded initially as a link between the research-based Kibale Chimpanzee Project and the local community, the Kasiisi Project now works with several research groups in and around the park to target critical issues for the survival of the forest and support of the local population. We support early childhood education, promote conservation and health education, provide daily school lunches, train teachers, encourage literacy through libraries and computer usage, fund secondary school and college scholarships, and address the special needs of girls.

Through advocacy and education, the Friends of the Boundary Waters Wilderness works to protect, preserve, and restore the wilderness character of the Boundary Waters Canoe Area Wilderness and Quetico-Superior ecosystem.

Conservation Foundation of the Gulf Coast protects the land and water in Southwest Florida for the benefit of humans and nature.

To keep all those in CT's Mystic River Watershed safe and flourishing during this period of intensifying climate change, we will improve equity and community resilience by expanding citizen participation in decision making and stewardship; improve the quality of water and habitats and nourish ecological health; inform and coordinate efforts to reduce risks from climate change impacts; advocate for climate-smart development and healthy, thriving communities; and promote youth well-being and school involvement through stewardship, citizen science and civic engagement.

The mission of Friends of the Portland Memory Garden is "To enhance the lives of individuals with memory disorders and their caregivers by maintaining the Portland Memory Garden and providing therapeutic and educational activities."

AVSA was organized to stimulate widespread interest in the propagation and culture of African violets, to promote ways and means for the distribution of all varieties and species, and to gather and publish reliable and practical information concerning the culture and propagation of the African violet. AVSA is the International Cultivar Registration Authority for the genus Saintpaulia. Information about AVSA’s many publications, services and activities is available in the African Violet Magazine, from the AVSA Office, and from the official website (www.avsa.org). The African Violet Society of America, Inc. (AVSA) was organized on November 8, 1946, and incorporated on June 30, 1947. The African Violet Society of America Inc. is a 501(c)(3) charitable organization.

ClearWater Conservancy protects and restores natural resources across central Pennsylvania by conserving land, stewarding water resources, and delivering environmental outreach and community programs. They use tools such as land protection (conservation easements and acquisitions), watershed restoration, stewardship, and public engagement to keep local landscapes and waterways healthy and accessible.

We are citizen stewards of the James River Park.  We do this by providing ongoing support for conservation, enhancement, and recreational enjoyment of the James River Park System, while protecting its natural and historic environments.
