The mission of the Willistown Conservation Trust is to preserve and manage the open land, rural character, scenic, recreational, historic, agricultural and natural resources of the Willistown area and nearby communities, and to share these unique resources with people of all ages and backgrounds to inspire, educate and develop a lifelong commitment to the land and the natural world.

The American Battlefield Trust is dedicated to preserving America's hallowed battlegrounds and educating the public about what happened there and why it matters today. Our mission is to elevate the voice of youth around the globe to secure the legal right to a healthy atmosphere and stable climate system. We support youth climate advocates in legal actions against federal and state governments around the globe, advancing constitutional and public trust rights to a safe climate for all present and future generations.

The mission of the Odyssey Conservation Trust is to conserve biodiversity through local and indigenous women. We improve the quality of life of women by using a holistic approach which links their well-being to the health of their environment and the health of their animals - an approach called One Health. By valorizing their traditional environmental knowledge and breaking the poverty cycle into which local women's lives are entangled, we promote the role of indigenous women as custodians of unique biocultural heritages.

Rooted in Vermont since 1977, Vermont Land Trust unites land and lives for the enduring benefit of people and the place we share. We have conserved farms, forests, trails, and natural areas covering over 11% of the state—land that contributes to our abundance of food and forest products, tourism and recreation, and community vitality. Partnering with landowners, communities, and all Vermonters, we work for a future where land and lives, in all of their diversity, can thrive.

Barnstable Land Trust is a non-profit, member-supported conservation and land preservation organization. We acquire open space to protect the natural resources of the Town of Barnstable. BLT holds wildlife habitat, scenic views, wetlands, woodlands, sensitive watershed parcels, forest and other valuable open space in its natural state for the benefit of the community. Founded in 1983, BLT provides a private alternative for land preservation. As of May 2017, BLT has completed 156 land-saving initiatives and preserved 1,082 acres.

Mission: The Peconic Land Trust conserves Long Island's working farms, natural lands, and heritage for our communities now and in the future.Impact: The conservation of working farms, natural lands, and heritage is closely inter-connected to many benefits that are important to all us who know and love the area ~ fresh local produce, miles of hiking trails, clean and productive bays and wetlands, drinking water protection, strong local economy, healthy ecosystems, storm water protection and buffer against effects of climate change, free public garden, historic preservation, lower property taxes (because of undeveloped land), and continued enjoyment of this unique region for generations to come.

Exposure to nature decreases anxiety, depression, and negative rumination; while at the same time increasing well being, and creative thinking. People with disabilities usually don't have the same access to nature and environmental education as the general public. The Lewisboro Land Trust Access Nature Program, reaches out to people with disabilities to enable them to experience the benefits of nature. We design each program to fit the needs of the individual group, sometimes using educational naturalists or nature programs. The goal of Access Nature Programs is to provide a comfortable. safe, enjoyable experience of nature while educating on the benefits gained. The ultimate goal is self reliance, having gained the knowledge and confidence to enjoy nature on their own.

To purchase and permanently protect privately held forest lands in the buffer zone of Sinharaja World Heritage Rainforest to secure its buffer zone, create bio-diversity corridors to connect fragmented rainforest patches and restore damaged ecosystems.

Working in partnership with the community to preserve, protect, and enhance the natural resources of the Santa Monica Mountains for the benefit of the environment and for present and future generations through: land acquisition and conservation easements; habitat preservation and restoration; and research and education.
