Working together to monitor, improve, and manage the water quality of Togus Pond and Stream, manage and maintain the dam at Togus Stream, and work with local, state, federal, and private organizations to sustain an active stewardship of Worromontogus Lake and its watershed.

The club operates and maintains outdoor facilities and ranges while promoting conservation of natural resources and safe outdoor sporting activities. It runs educational and safety programs for members and the public and provides a forum for local sportsmen to support land and water conservation.

Innovation: Africa is a New York based 501(c)(3) organization with a mission to bring Israeli solar, water and agricultural technologies to rural African villages. Since its founding in 2008, Innovation: Africa has completed over 250 solar installations bringing light, access to clean water, improved education, refrigeration for vaccines and medicines, and proper nutrition and food security to over 1.5 million people in the most remote villages in Africa. iA currently operates in ten countries: Uganda, Malawi, Tanzania, Ethiopia, South Africa, the Democratic Republic of Congo, Senegal, Cameroon, Zambia and eSwatini.

Their mission is to protect our air, water, and open spaces. They investigate problems, craft solutions, educate the public and decision-makers, and help the public make their voices heard in local, state, and national debates over the quality of our environment and our lives.

Planting Change Foundation builds the capacity of grassroots and youth-led organizations in Latin America to protect natural ecosystems and improve community wellbeing. They focus on environmental education, water and sanitation access, food security, and local leadership development to promote sustainable human development.

Great River Greening’s restoration projects are aimed at improving the region’s natural resources by strengthening ecological systems and promoting stewardship and management of critical lands and waters. We choose our projects based upon conservation need, ecosystem services provided, and community benefits.

THE WOOD RIVER LAND TRUST PROTECTS AND RESTORES LAND, WATER, AND WILDLIFE HABITAT IN THE WOOD RIVER VALLEY AND ITS SURROUNDING AREAS. Over the years, Friends of Walker Pond has funded, and continues to fund, projects that allow Walker Pond to remain one of the healthiest bodies of water in Maine. The group works with the towns of Brooksville and Sedgwick to ensure that our members, area residents and summer guests are aware of the activities affecting the health and enjoyment of the pond. The group engages experts to test and monitor water quality every year and has done so for 20+ years. Friends of Walker Pond has also been active in raising awareness regarding land development that might have the potential to damage the health and environment of the pond. This has all been done with donated funds and volunteer involvement.

The Clary Lake Association is a 501 c(3) non-profit corporation dedicated to preserving, protecting, and enhancing the natural beauty, and quality of Clary Lake and its watershed. These objectives are accomplished through a variety of activities which include education programs, water quality monitoring, and pollution abatement.

Their mission is to be the clear voice for the protection of our most precious freshwater resources and wildlife habitat. They work to support everyone who values and benefits from clean water and healthy lakes in Maine, including lake residents, lake associations, surrounding communities, vacationers, and the next generation of lake stewards.

Earthworks is a nonprofit organization dedicated to protecting communities and the environment from the adverse impacts of mineral and energy development while promoting sustainable solutions. Earthworks stands for clean air, water and land, healthy communities, and corporate accountability. We work for solutions that protect both the Earth’s resources and our communities.

Mission: Through education, fundraising, and other proper activities, to promote the protection and enhancement of the water quality of East Pond and to preserve its ecological, economic, recreational, and aesthetic value. To work with members and other interested parties to monitor water quality, to promote responsible land-use practices, and to maintain the integrity of the watershed ecology of East Pond. To encourage, facilitate and disseminate scientific research regarding East Pond. To publish a newsletter that focuses on information related to the lake protection efforts and developments on East Pond as well as on other lakes and ponds in Maine. To assist the work of charitable, educational, literary, or scientific organizations. To make distributions to nonexempt organizations and governmental bodies conditioned upon the fund being used for specific projects.
