The mission of Solano Land Trust is to permanently protect and preserve farmland, ranchland and open space in Solano County through the acquisition of land and agricultural conservation easements, education, and land management.

CONSERVATION THROUGH EDUCATION: TO WORK WITHIN OUR COMMUNITY TO CREATE PERSONAL CONNECTIONS BETWEEN PEOPLE, ANIMALS AND THEIR SHARED ENVIRONMENT. BY BRINGING HUMANS AND ANIMALS TOGETHER IN EDUCATIONAL SETTINGS, WE HOPE TO CULTIVATE A GREATER APPRECIATION FOR THE ANIMALS WITH WHICH WE SHARE THIS PLANET. WE ALSO HELP SPECIFIC ANIMALS IN NEED THROUGH RESCUE ACTIVITIES. OUR WORK IS GUIDED BY THE BELIEF THAT WE ARE A BETTER SPECIES WHEN WE CONNECT WITH OTHER SPECIES ON A PERSONAL LEVEL.

Blue Ocean Society for Marine Conservation is a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization whose mission is to protect marine life in the Gulf of Maine through research, education and inspiring action.

Nature Forward (formerly known as the Audubon Naturalist Society) inspires residents of the greater Washington, DC, region to appreciate, understand, and protect their natural environment through outdoor experiences, education, and advocacy.

The GOD'S CHILD Project's mission is "to break the bitter chains of poverty through education, housing and healthcare." While GOD'S CHILD is rooted in education and health-care, we aim to support the communities we serve at every level of development. Through our wide range of programs, we help children and families living in extreme poverty to meet their basic needs and find a restored sense of hope, self-worth and human dignity. Religious affiliation is not a requirement for any program services.

Goal: Rajasthan Samgrah Kalyan Sansthan's main objective is that 2 lakh women and girls of marginalized section may get graceful life, better livelihood, self-reliance, education and better health.

The Montgomery Parks Foundation champions Montgomery County Parks cultivating financial support and public engagement of county residents and businesses as members, donors, sponsors and advocates. We will inspire charitable giving and cultivate and solicit private donations at all levels to support programs and projects that preserve and enhance Montgomery Parks. We will encourage public support and activism on behalf of our parks and believe such involvement strengthens our community and fosters positive public policy in the best interests of our award-winning park system. The Advocacy Project - A Voice for the Voiceless The Advocacy Project (AP) helps marginalized communities around the world take action against the root causes of their disempowerment in a way that benefits society as a whole and produces social change. To do this, we partner with community-based advocates who represent these communities and share their problems. Our support for partners is innovative and effective. First, we deploy Peace Fellows (experienced graduate students) to help partners tell their story, launch campaigns, and strengthen their organization: we have deployed 274 Peace Fellows since 2003, and in the process given our Fellows a unique experience. Second, we help partners to raise funds and manage their campaigns: we have raised over $2.5 million for partners, and are currently seeking funds through Global Giving for exciting projects in Nepal, Vietnam and Uganda. Third, we promote the work of partners internationally, using new methods of story-telling such as advocacy quilting: over 300 women have produced embroidered panels for our quilts, which have been shown throughout North America and Europe.
