Mission and Vision:John Muir Land Trust protects and cares for open space, ranches, farms, parkland and shoreline in the East Bay of Northern California.John Muir Land Trust believes that the vitality of our open spaces is essential to the health of our earth, air, water and our native plants and animals -- and all of us. Our vision is to ensure that the beauty, diversity and fullness of our natural areas continue to enrich and sustain all generations of life. We acquire, protect and steward these diminishing lands, and we foster environmental awareness so that each person understands the need to preserve our natural heritage.

Royal River Conservation Trust envisions the Royal River’s communities woven together by accessible rivers, streams, and corridors of conserved land reaching Casco Bay. With a growing population, it is vital that these special places are protected for exploration, learning, growth and nourishment of the soul.

The American Chestnut Land Trust preserves and cares for natural and cultural landscapes in the Parkers Creek and Governors Run watersheds and promotes land conservation across Southern Maryland. It provides environmentally sustainable public access to preserved properties for education, scientific study, recreation, and cultural programs.

The Lakes Region Conservation Trust (LRCT) is an independent, non-profit, member-supported organization founded in 1979 to conserve the natural heritage of New Hampshire's Lakes Region and dedicated to the permanent protection, stewardship, and respectful use of lands that define the character of the region and its quality of life.

At Baltimore Tree Trust, we work to restore our city’s urban forests—green spaces and corridors that provide clean air, encourage community engagement, and nourish an appreciation for Baltimore’s environmental longevity. We plant and care for our city’s trees because of their lasting positive effects on neighborhoods citywide.

Prickly Pear Land Trust works to connect land and people across west‑central Montana by protecting open space, wildlife habitat, working ranchland, and community trails. They secure conservation easements and sometimes acquire land to create parks and trails, and run education and stewardship programs to maintain long‑term public access and ecological values.

The Santa Fe Conservation Trust partners with our community to keep northern New Mexico’s living lands and people flourishing together. We protect culturally and environmentally significant landscapes, ignite people’s passion for nature and enable the continual regeneration of our healthy place. The Concord Land Conservation Trust owns over 1,000 acres of land in Concord, all of which is open to the public. We have a beautiful, full-color, 25-page Trail Guide (updated in 2014) that includes maps of some of our best land for walking and informative descriptions of each property’s trails and features. ENV Wildlife Conservation Trust protects biodiversity by working to end the illegal wildlife trade threatening countless species with extinction. We implement effective conservation projects and activities throughout Vietnam in collaboration with our sister organization, Education for Nature Vietnam (ENV), and international partners. To make strides towards ending the wildlife trade, our on-the-ground efforts focus on educating the public to reduce demand for wildlife, strengthening law enforcement response to wildlife crime and tracking results, and collaborating with government officials to update and uphold wildlife protection legislation.

The Bainbridge Island Land Trust’s mission is toconserve and steward the diverse natural environment of Bainbridge Islandfor the benefit of all. To achieve this goal, the Bainbridge Island LandTrust acquires interests in land having significant or potentially significantconservation values such as scenic vistas, wetlands, open spaces, tidelands,forest, unique plant and animal habitats and stream and wildlife corridors. Wework with willing private landowners to protect their land using land protectionagreements called conservation easements. We also work with a variety ofpartners to acquire land for parks, trails and public use.
