Since 1997, the Kasiisi Project has aided education in and around Kibale National Park in rural western Uganda, East Africa. Founded initially as a link between the research-based Kibale Chimpanzee Project and the local community, the Kasiisi Project now works with several research groups in and around the park to target critical issues for the survival of the forest and support of the local population. We support early childhood education, promote conservation and health education, provide daily school lunches, train teachers, encourage literacy through libraries and computer usage, fund secondary school and college scholarships, and address the special needs of girls.

Wildlife in Crisis is a volunteer run, non-profit, 501(c)(3) organization dedicated to wildlife preservation and land conservation. WIC was founded in 1988 and each year WIC volunteers answer over 15,000 calls regarding injured and orphaned local wildlife and care for over 5,000 debilitated wild animals. WIC's wildlife care center, land trust and environmental education programs share the goal of protecting wildlife while improving the quality of life in our community. WIC relies entirely on donations to care for debilitated wildlife. As a volunteer run organization, we need help with fundraising, carpentry, public relations, grant writing and other professional services in addition to animal care. Ecology in Classrooms and Outdoors (ECO) inspires elementary school students to connect to our natural world through hands-on ecology enrichment programs. Our programs include a series of nature lessons + activities in students' classrooms and schoolyards, and culminate in service-learning projects in the students' community.

Protecting the Caribbean environment through research and community-based action

To use the sport/ skill of fishing as a mechanism to immerse and educate socio-economically disadvantaged children about their local marine and/or freshwater environment; while also working with fishing tournaments to collect and clean already caught fish to be donated to soup kitchens.
