Founded in 1992, Friends of the Presumpscot River is a non-profit organization, supported primarily by membership dues and small donations. Their mission is to protect and improve the water quality, indigenous fisheries, recreational opportunities, and natural character of the Presumpscot River.

Recover, restore and protect the lower Malibu Creek watershed and historical wetland in the heart of Malibu. Educate the general public about the wetland and riparian ecosystem, promote and restore clean and safe water for purposes of recreation, habitat and food sources.

The association works to protect and maintain Lake Nuangola’s water quality and shoreline environment while supporting community amenities and events. The Conservancy works to restore and maintain Walker Lake by increasing Walker River flows and conserving watershed and riparian lands; it acquires water rights and manages land stewardship, native plant restoration, and public access to protect agricultural, environmental, and recreational values in the Walker Basin.

Watershed Alliance works to educate and engage community members to be active stewards of the SW Washington area’s natural legacy, with a focus on creeks, lakes, and other water bodies. We educate children and adults, while giving them hands on opportunities to participate in the restoration and protection of waterways.

Since 1982, the North Carolina Coastal Federation has worked to protect and restore the coastal water quality and habitats of the N.C. coast through education, advocacy, and habitat preservation and restoration. We engage coastal residents and visitors in the protection of our coast for current and future generations.

Santa Barbara Channelkeeper is dedicated to protecting and restoring the Santa Barbara Channel and its watersheds. Through science-based advocacy, education, field work and enforcement, Channelkeeper defends our community's right to clean water and informs, inspires and empowers people to speak and act for our waterways.

Chocorua Lake Conservancy protects and manages land in the Chocorua Lake Basin to preserve water quality and natural habitats, holds and monitors conservation easements, maintains trails (including on Mount Chocorua), and provides and manages welcoming public lake access while offering education and stewardship programs.

The Coalition works to protect and restore the health of Buzzards Bay and its watershed through science-based conservation, land protection, education, community programs, and policy advocacy. Their work focuses on restoring clean water, conserving critical watershed lands, and engaging the public in stewardship and outdoor learning.

The Little River Wetlands Project restores, protects, and manages wetlands in the historic Little River watershed while engaging the community through education and volunteer programs. They acquire and restore wetland sites, work with partners to conserve water quality and flood storage, and run outreach programs to inspire stewardship.

Our mission is to conserve and steward Oregon's wetlands in partnership with communities. For more than 40 years, The Wetlands Conservancy has educated and assisted landowners, neighborhood groups, land trusts, and watershed councils on local stewardship to support fish and wildlife, clean water, open space and people's appreciation of nature.
