Mecox Bay Conservancy works to restore and protect the water quality and ecological health of Mecox Bay and its watershed. The organization raises public awareness, partners with local stakeholders and agencies, and develops/implements remediation projects to reduce pollution (especially nitrogen) and preserve habitat for future generations.

UVLT mission is to conserve, protect and steward our region’s lands for the health and resilience of nature and people: • Conserve lands that contribute to vibrancy and resilience of the Upper Valley (people and nature) now and in the future. Conserve land resilient to climate change; • Uphold conservation protections on the lands we conserve. Responsibly steward the lands we own to protect ecological systems and enhance adaptive capacity; • Engage and inspire people to care for land resources. The Center for Whale Research conducts long‑term scientific monitoring of Southern Resident killer whales — including annual censuses and health assessments — to inform conservation policy and ecosystem recovery. It also runs public outreach and education programs (including an outreach center) to raise awareness and support for orca and habitat protection.

Maui Nui Marine Resource Council works for clean ocean water, healthy coral reefs and an abundance of native fish for the islands of Maui County. The mission of the Association of New Jersey Environmental Commissions is to achieve responsible and sustainable use of New Jersey's natural resources and the protection of environmental health. They are a statewide organization that provides leadership, education, and support for environmental commissions and other local boards and public officials, and partners with other organizations to advocate for strong state and regional environmental policy.

Captains for Clean Water is a grassroots nonprofit organization advocating for the elimination of harmful, large-scale Lake Okeechobee discharges into the Caloosahatchee and St. Lucie River Estuaries by restoring the natural flow of Lake Okeechobee water south into the Everglades and Florida Bay. Restoring the natural southern flow of Lake Okeechobee water is essential to the survival of our estuaries, the health of the Everglades, and the long-term viability of South Florida's largest drinking water source. The problem is known. The solution is known. The funding is available through Amendment 1. All that's missing is the political will to make it happen.

“To protect and enhance the health of the salt ponds for the benefit of wildlife and people.” Our mission includes educating the residents of the salt ponds region about the salt ponds' value to the economy, and how residents can contribute to the well-being of the resource. SPC also acts as a conduit between the residents of the coastal communities and state and local governments for the flow of information vital to the survival of the salt ponds and their environs. SPC works to implement programs which enhance the environment of the salt ponds and contribute to their protection, preservation, and economic well-being. Finally, we network with other organizations to make our ecological experience available to residents of other New England coastal areas with similar needs.

EDUCATE - learners of all ages about one of the most biodiverse tracts of land, rivers, and trails, in the country, the Scenic Severn River and its watershed. RESTORE – Mother Nature’s water treatment plants – oysters and underwater grasses. With volunteers and partners we are re-establishing the processes necessary to support our River’s natural habitat.
