Our Goals: Access, Education, and Conservation -To pursue outreach and educational activities that will nurture enthusiasm and commitment in the watershed for long term sustainable stewardship. -To monitor conditions and engage in activities that will reduce or prevent pollution and lessen other harmful impacts on the River and its wetlands. -To foster a River Heritage Center as a community resource. A place to archive information, host events, administer programs, and coordinate river related activities. -To promote access to the Petaluma River and Marsh for all community members to experience the beauty of this resource for themselves

Protecting the Caribbean environment through research and community-based action

Founded in 1992, Friends of the Presumpscot River is a non-profit organization, supported primarily by membership dues and small donations. Their mission is to protect and improve the water quality, indigenous fisheries, recreational opportunities, and natural character of the Presumpscot River.

Friends of the Eel River works for the recovery of the Wild and Scenic Eel River, its fisheries, and communities.

To preserve, protect and restore Delaware's Inland Bays and their watershed.

The mission of the Lloyd Center is to instill a life-long respect and affection for nature in citizens of all ages through research and education; to advance a scientific and public understanding of our coastal ecosystems and the need to protect them; and to promote a legacy of natural diversity largely in, but not restricted to, the coastal environments of southeastern New England.

Our mission is to protect and enhance the environmental and recreational integrity of the Yampa River and its tributaries, through stewardship, advocacy, education and partnerships.

Our mission at the Alliance for the Great Lakes is to conserve and restore the world's largest freshwater resource using policy, education and local efforts, ensuring a healthy Great Lakes and clean water for generations of people and wildlife.

Through collaboration with fishermen, scientists, educators, and communities, the Gulf of Maine Lobster Foundation is dedicated to protecting and sustaining a healthy lobster fishery and marine environment.

The Coalition to Restore Coastal Louisiana is a nonprofit organization whose mission is to drive bold, science-based action to sustain a dynamic coastal Louisiana through engagement and advocacy. Recognizing that Louisiana’s coastal land-loss will have dramatic impacts on the nation’s energy, navigation and fisheries interests, CRCL works at the state, local and federal level to ensure that restoring and protecting coastal Louisiana is a top priority for our state and the nation. We facilitate and fund actual restoration projects and we work diligently to raise awareness and educate others about the importance of preserving and restoring coastal Louisiana.
