Congo Children Trust

The Congo Children Trust supports vulnerable street children in the Democratic Republic of Congo. Our flagship project, Kimbilio, works in the southern city of Lubumbashi supporting over 100 children each month, with the aim of reintegrating them with their families. Kimbilio runs four centres, including an outreach centre offering food, emotional support and healthcare; two transit houses; and a small community where children live in a holistic family setting.

United Through Sport SA

We are a South African registered charity dedicated to encouraging disadvantaged individuals and communities to develop to their full potential in sport, education and health. We are committed to using sport as a tool to develop the disadvantaged and vulnerable youth. We do this by; 1. Using direct sports coaching - for its health benefits, improved emotional well being and increased life skills (teamwork, leadership, decision making, communication). 2. Using sport to discuss critical issues - by delivering curriculums on topics such as HIV / AIDS awareness in a fun and interactive manner on the sports field. 3. Using sport for improved education - by providing pathways to success for talented and dedicated individuals through scholarships to top local schools and tertiary education.

ChildAid to Eastern Europe

ChildAid transforms the lives of vulnerable and disadvantaged babies, children and young people in Belarus, Moldova, Russia and Ukraine. In conjunction with local partners we provide direct services to those who are abandoned, abused, disabled, neglected or from the poorest of families. We provide free rehabilitative treatment, social and educational inclusion programmes, life and vocational skills training, foster parenting promotion & support network plus practical assistance.

The Turning Point Trust

Turning Point is a Christian charity working in the Nairobi slums. Our mission is to demonstrate God's heart for the poor through programmes that relieve poverty, transform lives and restore hope amongst vulnerable children and their families.We offer a holistic range of programmes which provide children with access to education, healthcare and regular meals, in addition to providing them with psycho-social support. We also operate pioneering prevention projects aimed at supporting families.

Sambhali Trust

Street Child

Street Child is an organization that aims to create educational opportunities for some of the world's most vulnerable children. Since launching in 2008 Street Child has supported more than 50,000 children across Liberia, Sierra Leone and Nepal. Whether working with children on the streets, providing business support for families who are suffering from the effects of income poverty, building first ever schools in rural communities, or working in crisis areas where children's ability to learn has been adversely affected, Street Child is committed to transforming lives through increased access to education with a core focus on sustainable responses. The charity works in some of the world's poorest countries, including regions recently beset by major natural or medical crises. Street Child's projects are designed to help ensure that children whose educational opportunities are at risk can access their right to a seat in the classroom and stay there.
