The Himalayan Children's Fund (HCF) is a way for people around the world, and the west in particular, to connect with the lives of people in the Himalayan Region of Nepal, India and Tibet. Established in 1987 by students of Venerable Thrangu Rinpoche, HCF provides support for Rinpoche's many compassionate activities such as schools, monasteries and clinics. By providing support for education, food, clothing, medicine and other needs we hope to equip the children and adults with the tools necessary for life enhancement while helping to preserve their culture which is primarily of Tibetan and Buddhist heritage.

Auroville is one of the world's great centers of environmental education with projects in 14 Indian states and outreach to 30 countries spanning the globe. Auroville Unity Fund is committed to provide the financial means to Auroville in securing the land, by consolidating and acquiring strategic lands for water, organic farming, reforestation and expanding the work, demo sites, training and outreach in regenerative work and culture. Children’s Music Fund is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit dedicated to providing music therapy and musical instruments to children and young adults affected by chronic conditions or life-altering illnesses, as well as to support quantitative research on such efforts.

YANA was founded in 1986 by Sandra Williams after her family experienced the financial and emotional devastation of having a very sick child who required long-term treatment in Vancouver. YANA continues to ensure that families in the Comox Valley are not alone when dealing with medical issues for their children and believes that when a child is ill the whole family requires care. YANA provides financial support so families can stay focused on the health and wellness of their child. YANA maintains four fully furnished apartments within walking distance of Children’s Hospital and also assists with finding and funding accommodation in alternate treatment destinations. In addition to providing accommodation, YANA provides funding to help with costs of travel, food, parking and unexpected expenses. YANA also provides St. Joseph’s Hospital with funds to make available to Comox Valley families who have a child or an expecting mother who requires emergency transfer to another hospital.

The mission of the KEX Kids Fund is to provide basic vision and hearing care to all eligible children in 16 counties in Oregon and SW Washington. Since 1987, we have been able to provide eyeglasses and hearing aids to all eligible children requesting our help.

These products are delivered through a monitored food distribution network in cities and countries around the world. CHF relies heavily on monetary contributions from concerned citizens across America. We realize our donors have many options for their charitable giving and every effort is made to effectively utilize their investment. CHF remains one of the most cost-effective charities in the nation, less than one percent goes to cover overhead costs.
