The mission of FCRE is to devrease the death rate from cancer while enhancing patient quality of life. Our focus on prostate cancer research is a model for the treatment of other cancers and can reduce the frequency of heart attacks and strokes Our efforts in education are to acquaint the general pbulic, cancer patients, and health care professionals with recent advances in prevention, diagnosis, and treatment of prostate cancer

The founding members volunteered to teach children and youth in Moria and Kara Tepe Camps on Lesvos to ensure that these displaced students continued to get an education while their lives were in flux. They recruit volunteers for their programs—the Teaching Program, both in person and virtual, and the Girls Empowerment Program. They also develop curriculum, teach classes, conduct professional development, fundraise for program activities, and offer presentations focusing on their work with refugees.

Through the highest-quality holistic education, we equip youth to become leaders in their communities. IEFT operates Orkeeswa School, a community- based secondary school located in an under- served Maasai village in the Monduli Hills of northern Tanzania. By offering our students a diverse array of programs, opportunities and resources, we are developing a generation of well-rounded and inspired leaders in Orkeeswa Village, who are equipped and motivated to make a positive impact on their communities. Each member of IEFT's international and Tanzanian staff is dedicated to supporting the growth and development of Orkeeswa's over 270 students.

NEED2 works every day to actively prevent suicide through our anonymous chatting/texting service for youth up to 30 years of age from across Canada who are distressed or in crisis (Youthspace.ca) and through suicide prevention presentations (Suicide Awareness for Youth)in schools in the Greater Victoria area. NEED2 also offers a support group for adults who have experienced the loss of someone through suicide, as well as workshops related to suicide, mental health and communication. NEED2 has an Ethical Fundraising and Financial Accountability Code available on request. NEED2 was previously know as NEED Crisis and Information Line. Est. 1971.

EHCA provides treatment, reentry, and veteran support services to underserved and at‑risk populations—particularly people returning from incarceration and veterans—using evidence‑based substance‑use treatment, life‑skills and vocational programming to reduce recidivism and support community reintegration.

The goal of the Gayle Lyn Kliever Student Fund is to raise and distribute scholarships directly to worthy Tanzanian students. Scholarship help will be given to those students with ability, motivation and potential. Recipients may be of any age. Priority is given to those with little or no family presence. The fund will also support worthwhile educational projects in Tanzania.
