The Lupus Foundation of America, Texas Gulf Coast Chapter's mission is to improve the diagnosis and treatment of lupus, support individuals and families affected by the disease, increase awareness of lupus among health professionals and the public, and find the causes and cure.

The mission of HLAA is to open the world of communication to people with hearing loss by providing information, education, support and advocacy. Founded in 1979, HLAA is the leading organization for people with hearing loss in the United States.
