Volunteers Around the World (VAW) is a humanitarian organization and social enterprise devoted to improving the standard of living for those that live in some of the most poverty stricken communities of the world. The Outdoor Recreation Council is a research, education,and advocacy organisation. The Council's members represent the full spectrum of land and water-based recreational activities in the Province. As a respected voice for outdoor recreation in BC, the Council provides information and advice on recreation policy and management practices. We work cooperatively with goverment, industry, and other groups.

Operation Realife is a U.S.-based 501(c)(3) humanitarian nonprofit that delivers emergency aid and basic necessities to displaced and vulnerable populations — with a current emphasis on food, clean water, and medical support for people in Gaza. The organization coordinates local distributions and partners to provide both immediate relief and longer-term assistance.

We're an international humanitarian non-profit committed to children's education, community development, and emergency relief projects in more than 30 countries. Our work includes building clean water wells in Africa, providing safe cookstoves for families in Guatemala, and ensuring access to education for children in Haiti, Chad, Malawi, Guatemala, and Nepal.

Through education and advocacy, PHLUSH helps local governments and citizen groups to provide equitable public restroom availability and to prepare for a pipe-breaking seismic event with appropriate ecological toilet systems. Our Vision Toilet availability is a human right and well-designed sanitation systems restore health to our cities, our waters and our soils.

THE VIRGINIA HOSPITAL CENTER MEDICAL BRIGADE'S MISSION IS TO IMPROVE THE HEALTH OF COMMUNITIES IN HONDURAS. FOUNDED IN 1999, TO PROVIDE DISASTER RELIEF IN HONDURAS, THE BRIGADE NOW DIRECTS ITS EFFORTS IN PROVIDING COMMUNITY DEVELOPMENT AND INTERVENTIONS SUCH AS CLEAN WATER, EDUCATION, NUTRITION AND THE TRAINING OF COMMUNITY HEALTH WORKERS. IT CONTINUES TO INCREASE THE NUMBER OF SERVICES CURRENTLY UNAVAILABLE IN HONDURAS AND TO COLLABORATE WITH LOCAL PARTNERS.
