The Centre for Mindfulness Studies is an innovative charity in Toronto, Ontario. We offer mindfulness-based therapies and professional training for health care and social service providers. As a social enterprise, we use the revenue generated by these programs as a sustainable source of funding for the services we provide for free or at nominal cost to those who face economic and/or social barriers. In our social program, we have partnered with social service agencies across Toronto, training front-line workers in strategies for coping with stress, and delivering therapy to their clients; including low-income women in Parkdale, and isolated seniors in Lawrence Heights.

For the Nations Refugee Outreach provides general educational and family services that help meet the practical needs of refugees and shares with them the gospel of Jesus Christ. We serve refugees from more than 20 countries resettled in the Dallas/Fort Worth area from ages 0-87 by emphasizing education, family services and the Christian gospel message through ESL classes, literacy, tutoring, preschool, citizenship classes, Bible studies, life skills, reading programs, field trips and seminars. We also help connect refugees to food, clothing and health care. Our vision is to bring these proven programs to more and more of the area’s large refugee population.

Statement of Faith We believe the Bible to be the Word of God, verbally inspired and wholly without error in all that it declares and therefore is the supreme and final authority for faith and life. We believe in the one true God – Father, Son and Holy Spirit. We also believe in the virgin birth and the Deity of Jesus Christ, the eternal Son of God, who is also the son of man. We believe in the imminent return of Christ to this earth to set up His kingdom and to judge the righteous. We believe that man was originally created in the image of God, that he fell into sin through the first Adam, and that he is responsible for all sin committed after reaching the age of accountability and that sin causes him to be separated from God and lost eternally. We believe that the Holy Spirit indwells all who receive Jesus Christ as Savior and Lord. We believe that Christians are called and commanded to do good works. We believe that Christians are called to witness for Christ and to preach the gospel to all nations.

The Guild for Exceptional Children provides direct services and supports to children, adults, and seniors with intellectual and developmental disabilities so they can live with dignity and reach their fullest potential. It runs early childhood education, residential supports, day habilitation, and community programs while also helping families navigate services.

Founded in 1817, the American School for the Deaf is the country's oldest and Connecticut's only educational organization exclusively devoted to serving the deaf community. A private, non-profit, 501(c)(3) organization, ASD provides comprehensive educational services for deaf and deaf with special needs infants, children, youth, adults and their families. The school is located on a 54-acre, 14-building campus in West Hartford, Connecticut. The mission of the American School for the Deaf is to provide a comprehensive program for the development of the intellect and the enhancement of the quality of life for the deaf and hard of hearing community by serving as a multi-purpose institution furnishing educational and vocational programs for deaf children, youth, adults and their families.

The mission of the Center for the Visually Impaired is to empower people impacted by vision loss to live with independence and dignity.>We serve anyone with vision loss from partially sighted to fully blind. >Regardless of age or income level, CVI has four programs to suit the needs at each life-stage.>Operate an onsite retail store with a wide assortment of aids for the visually impaired.>Central, convenient location in Midtown Atlanta.

The American Foundation for the Blind removes barriers, creates solutions, and expands possibilities so people with vision loss can achieve their full potential.

To raise and distribute funds to help children fighting cancer. Our primary focus for distribution of donations is to help pay for the cost of experimental cancer treatments, resources for travel to these treatments and any meals or lodging needed while receiving them.“By The Kid, for the kids!”

One of our aims is to spread awareness on disabilities through TV programs and awareness campaigns on regular basis. We bring together families with special children, provide counseling and training and motivate them to become self reliant, confident and useful individuals.
