The Knights and Orchids Society (TKO) envisions a future where Transgender, Lesbian, Bisexual, and Gay (TLBG) Black people are empowered to live full and healthy lives free from harm. Our mission is to build the power of TQBLG Black people across the south by providing a spectrum of health and wellness services designed to address the social determinants of health that negatively impact our communities. Since 2019, we have provided 258 clients with services through our primary program Fast, Affirming, Innovative Testing and Healthcare or FAITH.

THE COALITION'S MISSION IS TO IMPROVE THE RESPONSE TO AND REDUCE THE IMPACT OF DOMESTIC VIOLENCE IN NEW MEXICO.

The University of Ottawa Heart Institute is a bilingual academic health centre dedicated to promoting heart health through integrated cardiac services including: primary and secondary prevention, state-of-the-art diagnostics, and therapies and rehabilitation. The Heart Institute is a regional facility serving our local communities within the Champlain District and western Quebec. The Heart Institute is a resource to the province, the rest of Canada, and the international community. The Heart Institute is committed to basic and clinical research which adds new knowledge. We educate professional staff and the public to apply this knowledge to improve the health of our community.

Jacob's Heart Children's Cancer Support Services exists to improve the quality of life for children with cancer and other life-threatening illnesses by supporting their families in the challenges they face. We provide family-centered care that addresses the emotional, practical, and financial struggles for families of children and teens during treatment, families experiencing anticipatory grief, and those who are bereaved.We envision a community where every child facing a pediatric cancer diagnosis has a strong, supported and informed family empowered to fully participate in their care. We strive to inspire compassionate action within local communities to create a safety net of support for the unique needs of each child and family.
