Cheshire Health Foundation Cultivates And Stewards Charitable Support To Advance The Health And Wellness Mission Of Cheshire Medical Center. The Cheshire Health Foundation Provides Management Of Board-Designated, Special-Purpose, Building, And Endowment Funds. The Cheshire Health Foundation Distributes Funds To Cheshire Medical Center In Accordance With Donor Stipulations.

The Mission Of Caring Health Center Is To Work Within The Community To Promote Health, To Care For The Ill, To Comfort The Sick, And To Bring The Highest Level Of Health Care To Those Who Are Challenged By Socio-Economic, Linguistic, And Cultural Barriers.

The Peterborough County-City Health Unit (PCCHU) is constantly working toward its vision of "healthy people in healthy communities." PCCHU takes a comprehensive approach to health promotion and protection activities by: carrying out population health surveillance; increasing public awareness; providing educational opportunities; facilitating supportive environments; and advocating for the development of healthy public policy. As an Ontario Public Health Unit, PCCHU is mandated by the province of Ontario and the Ontario Public Health Standards, 2008, to provide programming related to family health, chronic disease and injury prevention, environmental health, infectious diseases, and emergency preparedness. PCCHU puts a strong emphasis on meeting specific local needs in these areas and is deeply committed to addressing the social determinants of health in our communities.

Established in 1987, Global Health Ministries (GHM) continues the healing ministry of Jesus by enhancing health care programs of Lutheran churches in other countries. We pursue this mission by providing financial support for health care programs, receiving and shipping donated medical supplies and equipment, recruiting health care personnel for short term training projects, and collaborating with overseas partners in health care program development.

APLA Health's mission is to achieve health care equity and promote well-being for the LGBT and other underserved communities and people living with and affected by HIV. APLA Health has 16 strategically located sites in Los Angeles County.

JOHN MUIR HEALTH OFFERS THE COMMUNITY A NETWORK OF PRIMARY CARE AND SPECIALTY PHYSICIANS, TWO MEDICAL CENTERS, INCLUDING THE COUNTY'S ONLY TRAUMA CENTER AND A BEHAVIORAL HEALTH CENTER. THE HEALTH SYSTEM ALSO OFFERS A FULL-RANGE OF MEDICAL SERVICES, INCLUDING PRIMARY CARE, OUTPATIENT AND IMAGING SERVICES, AND IS WIDELY RECOGNIZED AS A LEADER IN MANY SPECIALTIES - NEUROSCIENCES, ORTHOPEDIC, CANCER, CARDIOVASCULAR, TRAUMA, EMERGENCY, PEDIATRICS AND HIGH-RISK OBSTETRICS CARE.
