Community Volunteers in Medicine provides compassionate primary medical and dental care and health education to people who live or work in the Chester County region who lack access to insurance, in order to support their goals to lead productive, healthy, and hopeful lives.

The mission of Small Steps in Speech is to help children with speech and/or language disorders take the steps needed to be better communicators. The foundation was created in honor of SSG Marc Small, fiancé of Amanda Charney, foundation director. Marc had dreams of Amanda opening her own private practice and came up with the name, “Small Steps in Speech” to symbolize her soon to be last name along with the small steps children must take to build their communication skills. When the heart breaking news came of Marc’s passing, starting this non-profit foundation seemed like a good way to start keeping Marc Small’s memory alive and keep him close to her heart.

All In For Ethan, Inc. is a 501(c)3 charity that funds research and enhances the quality of life for children with Giant Axonal Neuropathy (GAN).

AIM was founded in 1983, because the founder suffered from unrelenting panic attacks, and had suffered for 20 years with no one to help. She wanted to help other individuals with the same problem. The first group had 20 people, but soon grew to 10 groups, both in and out of state. Recovery is not a secret, and using behavioral and cognitive tools seems to be the answer. We provide a hot line, field trips and literature. Our goal is help anxious individuals and provide help and support, while educating the public. Also, in this way, our hope is to destigmatize this condition.
