Cool Kids Campaign is devoted to improving the quality of life for pediatric oncology patients and their families by focusing on the academic, social and emotional needs brought on by a cancer diagnosis.Cancer creates an instant crisis in a family. Fear and anxiety are the first emotions young people may feel after learning of their illness and what they are about to face. Kids with cancer are still normal kids! Our program's focus is guided by the direct feedback we receive from affected families and advice from the Cool Kids Advisory Committees.

We’re a non-profit organization on a mission to fund research to find a cure for brain tumors. We provide supportive and safe environments for patients, families, and caregivers to share experiences, learn about current therapies, and receive information about various aspects of a brain tumor diagnosis and treatment through monthly support group meetings.

Zcharia came to Kansas City in 2005. He soon became involved with the Kerala Association of Kansas City and became the sports coordinator. He became an active member of the volleyball community in Kansas City, participating in their Friday practices, local tournaments, and even the famous Jimmy George Volleyball Tournament held in New York. More than playing, he enjoyed connecting with people and introduced many people to volleyball. In 2010, he was diagnosed with stage 4 lung cancer. This put a damper on his ability to play the game he enjoyed. But soon after his first treatment of chemotherapy, he started playing volleyball with his friends again. This ended soon towards the middle of 2013 as his disease got worse. On December 21st, 2013, Zcharia Jose passed away.

To provide support for pediatric children and families who are faced with a life-threatening illness including ATRT, medulloblastoma, or similar brain tumors.

The mission of the Nevada Childhood CancerFoundation (NCCF) is to provide social, emotional, educational, andpsychological support services and programs to families of ALL children diagnosed with life threatening or critical illnesses such as cancer, HIV/AIDS, sickle cell, hemophilia, renal disorders, and immunologic diseases and provide healing arts and wellness programs to adults touched by cancer and to chronically ill children and their caregivers.

UBCF’s mission is to make a positive difference in the lives of those affected by breast cancer. We aid in providing screening, treatment, after-care, educational material, patient and family assistance and information. UBCF provides grants to hospitals and community health centers to benefit patients and families coping with breast cancer. We strive to alleviate the stress and strain that cancer can cause to patients and families and to foster health and well-being through both traditional and holistic treatments by never denying anyone service regardless of age, race, gender or income.

ACCF helps alleviate the financial burden felt by patients who are struggling due to the costs associated with a cancer diagnosis and treatment. We provide fast, flexible, compassionate assistance with whatever their greatest financial need may be, so that they can focus on what matters most -- their treatment and recovery.

In December of 2008, Cassandra Brown, was diagnosed with this terrible disease. Although she had minor health issues, she was otherwise healthy and had no cancer-related symptoms. For more than a year, she gracefully battled on, showing her strength and being a role model to us all. Unlike many diagnosed with this disease, she was blessed with several months of happy times, leaving an everlasting footprint in the lives of those around her. In March of 2010, Cassandra’s fight was over. As a legacy to her, the Cassandra’s Cure for Cancer Foundation, Inc., a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization, was created to raise awareness and funds to help find a cure. Over the last 8 years, our foundation has raised over $70,000 through charitable events from which all proceeds were donated to the Pancreatic Cancer Action Network (www.pancan.org), the largest advocacy and medical research organization focused on finding a cure for this terrible disease.

The mission of the Cancer Foundation is to ensure superior cancer care for all residents of Santa Barbara County regardless of means. To this end, the Foundation is the leading non-profit fundraising and grant making institution dedicated to cancer care in Santa Barbara County. The Cancer Foundation is the largest donor to Ridley-Tree Cancer Center, the leading provider of cancer care on the central coast.
