TO PROVIDE SUPPORT TO CANCER VICTIMS. THIS SUPPORT IS PRIMARILY PROVIDED IN TWO WAYS: 1) DISTRIBUTION OF FINANCIAL "GESTURES" TO ASSIST WITH THE FINANCIAL BURDEN OF A CANCER DIAGNOSIS AND 2) OFFERING OF HEALTHY AND ACTIVE-LIVING ACTIVITIES (SURVIVE, THRIVE & BE FIT) TO ENCOURAGE PATIENTS AND SURVIVORS TO LIVE MORE FULLY FOLLOWING A CANCER DIAGNOSIS.

The mission of The University of Texas MD Anderson Cancer Center is to eliminate cancer in Texas, the nation and the world through outstanding programs that integrate patient care, research and prevention and through education for undergraduate and graduate students, trainees, professionals, employees and the public.

Founded in 1947, Dana-Farber Cancer Institute is committed to providing expert, compassionate care to children and adults with cancer, while advancing the understanding, treatment, cure, and prevention of cancer and related diseases. The mission of The Lustgarten Foundation is to advance the scientific and medical research related to the diagnosis, treatment, cure and prevention of pancreatic cancer; and to provide patients and families with the information they need to make informed decisions about their care.

Blood Cancer United is a global leader in the fight against cancer. The Blood Cancer United mission: Cure leukemia, lymphoma, Hodgkin's disease and myeloma, and improve the quality of life of patients and their families. Blood Cancer United funds lifesaving blood cancer research around the world, provides free information and support services, and is the voice for all blood cancer patients seeking access to quality, affordable, coordinated care.

The Multiple Myeloma Research Foundation, Inc. mission is to: relentlessly pursue innovative means that accelerate the development of next-generation multiple myeloma treatments to extend the lives of patients and lead to a cure. To achieve this purpose, four goals are pursued: Funding research in the field of multiple myeloma, building collaborations among researchers and industry, providing disease and treatment related information to patients and family members while advocating for optimal patient care, and raising awareness of multiple myeloma.

To ease suffering, provide hope, and save lives of people stricken with cancer

The mission of the Kosten foundation is four-fold:To establish support and a forum for communication amongst those afflicted with pancreatic cancer via support group meetings and this website.To assist with the training of future pancreatic surgeons.To provide funding for a yearly Memphis public lecture on pancreatic cancer delivered by a nationally and/or internationally renowned expert on the disease.To provide funding for clinical and basic research toward improving outcomes of those afflicted with pancreatic cancer.

Expedition Inspiration Fund raises money to fund cutting‑edge breast cancer research (including Young Investigator awards), organizes a biennial medical symposium to foster collaboration among researchers, and runs climbs/hikes and survivor‑focused events to raise awareness and support survivors’ physical and mental well‑being.
