It is also committed to developing new and better treatments that improve the lives of people with type 1 diabetes in the near term and keep them healthy while we advance toward a cure. JDRF’s promise is to progressively remove the impact of T1D from the lives of those living with the disease until it is no longer a threat to them or their families. Health Partners International of Canada is a not-for-profit relief and development organization that works through partnerships to increase access to medicine and improve health in the developing world. Millions of people around the world suffer and die unnecessarily from preventable and treatable diseases because there is no medicine. In response to the needs on the ground, HPIC requests and receives donations of medicine, vaccines and medical supplies from Canadian healthcare companies. HPIC then provides medical aid through Canadian doctors, aid organizations and government agencies to impoverished communities and countries for emergency relief and community development.

We are the official NH Affiliate of International OCD Foundation (IOCDF). IOCDF was founded by OCD sufferers in 1986,and is an international not-for-profit organization made up of people with Obsessive Compulsive Disorder (OCD) and related disorders, as well as their families, friends, professionals and others. The mission and goals of the IOCDF are to: Educate the public and professionals about OCD in order to raise awareness and improve the quality of treatment provided; Support research into the cause of, and effective treatments for, OCD and related disorders; Improve access to resources for those with OCD and their families; Advocate and lobby for the OCD community. OCD NH is proud to carry out the mission of IOCDF through programs at the local, community level.

The Aplastic Anemia and MDS International Foundation is the world’s leading nonprofit health organization dedicated to supporting patients and families living with aplastic anemia, myelodysplastic syndromes (MDS), paroxysmal nocturnal hemoglobinuria (PNH) and related bone marrow failure diseases. The Foundation provides answers, support, and hope to thousands of patients and their families around the world through the three phases of bone marrow failure diseases: the life-changing phase of diagnosis; the life-threatening phase of treatment; and the life-long phase of living with a chronic disease

Crohn's disease and ulcerative colitis are collectively known as inflammatory bowel disease (IBD) because they cause severe inflammation of the intestinal tract, and have common symptoms. The cause remains unknown, and there is no medical cure. The Crohn's & Colitis Foundation of America was founded in 1967. Its mission is to find a cure for Crohn's disease and ulcerative colitis and to improve the quality of life of children and adults affected by these diseases.

The mission of the American Diabetes Association (the Association) is to prevent and cure diabetes and to improve the lives of all people affected by diabetes. Diabetes is a disease in which the body does not produce or properly use insulin.  Insulin is a hormone that is needed to convert sugar, starches and other food into energy needed for daily life.  The cause of diabetes continues to elude the medical community, although research has shown that both genetics and environmental factors such as obesity and lack of exercise appear to play roles.
