Miracle Foundation is an international nonprofit that helps orphans and foster children find a safe, stable, and permanent family. Whether in an orphanage or in the Foster Care System, our vision is a family for every child in our lifetime. Since 2000, Miracle Foundation has been dedicated to improving the lives of children. In 2022 alone, we supported more than 170,000 children—and this is just the beginning. Today, we are a world leader in ending the need for orphanages and ensuring children grow up in safe, stable families. To achieve this, we are actively uniting children with families, partnering with frontline workers, preventing children from entering the system whenever possible, and stabilizing placements for children until they find a forever family. The Fogarty Center provides services and supports to children and adults with intellectual and developmental disabilities, helping people increase independence, build community connections, and make choices about their lives. Its programs include residential supports, day and employment services, children’s services, and self-direction/fiscal intermediary services.

The Painted Turtle’s mission is to provide a year-round, life-changing environment and authentic camp experience for children with chronic and life-threatening illnesses. The Painted Turtle supports children’s medical needs, inspires them to reach beyond their illnesses, and provides care, education and respite for their families. All campers and families attend free of charge. Of the more than one million children in California with chronic and life-threatening illnesses, our needs assessment revealed more than 17,500 are unable to attend summer camp due to their medical conditions. That is, until we came along! The Painted Turtle provides these children and their families with an empowering, renewing experience completely free of charge. The Painted Turtle offers year-round programs including: Spring and Fall Family Weekends for the entire family, one-day family events, week-long Summer Sessions, and hospital/community outreach programs.  

The Elizabeth Hospice's mission is caring for all ages impacted by serious illness, grief and loss by providing hospice care, grief counseling, children's programs, education and community outreach.

The Evanosky Foundation exists for the purpose of generating funds to support two main objectives. It will support pediatric leukodystrophy research as well as assist and care for children and families affected by one of the leukodystrophies and/or other disabling conditions.

The FPIES Foundation will continuously strive to explore treatment options customized to enable growth and healing for today’s children as well as those of the future. Together with families and medical professionals, we will make changes today to create a lasting foundation for tomorrow.

The Safety Village is a not-for-profit community organization that is the recognized leader in providing safety and injury-prevention education programs to residents of Windsor-Essex. Annually, The Safety Village provides onsite safety education programs to as many as 10,000 elementary school children, and our numbers are growing. Since opening our doors, we have provided safety programs to more than 87,000 local school children, a figure that does not include the thousands of children and families who attend the numerous programs and events we offer both on and off site. Incorporated in 2000 through the efforts of the Rotary Club of Windsor 1918, we now partner with numerous community groups to raise awareness of safety, injury and crime prevention issues. We are continually expanding our highly successful education centre through new safety and crime prevention programming including Neighbourhood Watch and via new community partnerships.
