Reconnect Mental Health Services is a community mental health agency that provides a range of recovery-based programs for adults experiencing serious mental illness. We also work with clients who, in addition to their mental illness, have co-occurring challenges (such as developmental disability or substance use). Programs offered are Community Support (case mangement), Day Program(group programming), Housing Support, Assertive Community Treatment, Mental Health and Justice Programs.

The Cumberland Health Care Foundation primarily supports the regional acute care facility for Cumberland County (the Cumberland Regional Health Care Centre)as well as funding County-wide programs in support of the 4 smaller hospitals. Funding of programs and services is in alignment with the Cumberland Health Authority to ensure maximum usage of donated dollars. Special funds have been set up for the Palliative Care Unit, Cumberland Cancer Assistance, Mental Health, the Holly Spicer Healing Garden, the Teddy Bear Pediatrics Funds, Equipment Fund, Endowment Fund as well as others.

Punjabi Community Health Services (PCHS) is a health and social service organization serving the communities in the Central West – LHIN boundaries and the GTA area. Our primary focus of intervention is the South Asian community with an emphasis on other diverse communities. PCHS provides culturally and linguistically appropriate services in an integrated holistic approach. We are an agency which provides equitable, client driven and client centred services in partnership with many stakeholders. PCHS also provides a platform for people to build their neighbourhood and communities by volunteering. In addition, PCHS provides opportunities for new immigrants to gain experience in the field of social work and health promotion. The Chicago Hispanic Health Coalition’s mission is to promote healthy behavior and prevent chronic disease and health disparities in the Hispanic communities of metropolitan Chicago. CHHC improves health in Hispanic communities by sponsoring culturally appropriate, evidence-based health education classes, and by providing a forum for policy development.

Windy Slopes Health Foundation raises funds in support of health care services at Pincher Creek Health Centre. Our volunteer Board of Directors ensure that your gifts are spent wisely. All funds are managed locally and spent in support of priority health care needs in our community.
