We serve the Region of Peel (Missisauga, Brampton and Caldeon). Through our community education and outreach programs, we pro-actively communicate with the general public and at-risk populations on HIV prevention, healthy sexuality and harm reduction. Our Health Promotion Team has specialized outreach programs, which are targeted to Men who have sex with Men (MSM), the African Diaspora, and Injection Drug users and women who are are-risk for HIV infection. Our PHA support programs provide individuals with a range of support services, counselling, health promotion and capacity building, and referrals to improve quality of life. Our Volunteer program develops and supports a dynamic, well-trained volunteer team which reflects our community and serves the needs of our client base. All our programs collaborate with a broad base of networks, organizations and community members in planning, service delivery and evaluation.

Based in BC, Options for Sexual Health is Canada's largest non-profit provider of sexual health services, which has been operating for 50 years. Our clinics offer a supportive, confidential, nonjudgmental space to talk about anything to do with sex, sexuality, and relationships. Opt clinics also offer safer sex supplies, pregnancy and sexually transmitted infection (STI) testing, emergency contraception, and birth control at reduced rates. We have over 50 clinics throughout British Columbia. Our Education Programs provide age-appropriate sexuality education programs for children, youth, adults, and professionals on a variety of topics. Our programs are learner-centred, interactive, and individually tailored. Our toll-free 1-800-SEX-SENSE line is a free, nonjudgmental, confidential and anonymous phone and email service that provides information and referrals about sex, contraception, sexually transmitted infections, pregnancy options and anything else to do with sexuality.

The cornerstone of hospice and palliative care is the belief that individuals and families coping with incurable and progressive illness should be cared for compassionately. Hospice by the Bay's mission is to alleviate pain; to prevent and treat conditions that might otherwise threaten the quality of life; and to provide support to the patient's family and loved ones, including grief counseling for adults, teens and children.

Situated in one of the most diverse communities in the world, The Scarborough Hospital Foundation (TSHF) raises funds for state of the art medical equipment and building projects for The Scarborough Hospital. Since its inception, the Foundation has worked with generous donors, volunteers and community members to raise the funds needed to help save lives, and support our vision to be recognized as Canada’s leader in providing the best healthcare for a global community.

Our new clinic and emergency treatment room, now over one year old, is a busy place. Throughout this period, the majority of emergencies have been successfully diagnosed and treated or stabilized locally. During this time, there have been examples of multiple simultaneous needs with, in one instance, three patients on site at one ime. Our efforts in creating the clinic have been worthwhile. Lives have been saved. We have learned much during this period and know that there is much more that can be done.

We believe CCSVI is a condition that extends far beyond patients with multiple sclerosis; we are also researching linkages to Alzheimer’s, Parkinson’s, ALS, dementia, stroke, and many more medical conditions. AIDS Vancouver Island provides comprehensive, accessible and effective education, prevention, care, treatment and support services to residents of Vancouver Island and the Southern Gulf Islands. Our vision is of a world free of HIV and hepatitis C. Until that time, those most at risk in our community continue to be marginalized - not only by their disease, but also by stigma and discrimination, poverty, and despair. As we fight these diseases, we join with those we serve to provide services based on consideration and respect and to provide visibility and a voice in the community.
