TENDER WISHES FOUNDATION

Through the efforts of TENDER WISHES, many families have been able to cherish happy memories. Each year the number of wishes grows. They range from trips to Walt Disney World, home entertainment units, attending sporting events, meeting a celebrity or hero, to home renovations done to the home to make life a little more comfortable for their child. The wishes are as varied as the child. In general, TENDER WISHES strives to make the child's wish, in consultation with their parents, come true! INTERESTING FACTS 1. We are based in Niagara Falls, Ontario and serve the entire Regional Municipality of Niagara. 2. We have NO paid staff. All our members are Volunteers. 3. We are NOT affiliated with any national or international wish-granting organization. 4. We receive NO Government Grants 5. Once a wish is granted, contact is maintained with the child and their family through annual events such as our Summer Picnic, Parades and our Wish Children's Christmas Party.

DURHAM HOSPITAL FOUNDATION

The Foundation engages residents and businesses through donations of time and resources to help keep first-rate services within the community, such as a well-equipped hospital and excellent, caring medical professionals. Donations may be made by individuals, families, groups, business, corporations and foundations. Gifts may be In Memory of a loved one or In Honour of a life event. Donations may be in response to a campaign or as part of your annual giving plan. Gifts may be made to support the Foundation's annual fundraising campaign or designated to a particular piece of equipment. Donations may also be designated to an Endowment Fund to ensure quality health care is available into the future. Gifts may also be made to honor a member of the healthcare staff, to recognize and thank them for providing caring, extraordinary attention. If indicated, Foundation staff will send a card to commemorate your gift. Thank you for choosing to support local health care.

SUPPORT OF CHILDREN'S CHARITIES: Donations of cash, airline tickets and Aeroplan Miles are provided to registered Canadian charities that work with children. SUPPORT OF OTHER HEALTH RELATED CAUSES:On an ad hoc basis, the Air Canada Foundation provides support to eligible charities for fundraising purposes. HOSPITAL TRANSPORTATION PROGRAM: This program benefits 15 pediatric hospitals across Canada through the donation of Aeroplan Miles used to transport children and a parent to centers offering medical treatment unavailable in their community. To donate your Aeroplan Miles and help sick children, visit aircanada.com/foundation. EVERY BIT COUNTS: Air Canada collects small change of any currency on its flights, in large decorative canisters in airports and Maple Leaf Lounges. Funds collected are donated to organizations supported by the Foundation. The Foundation actively participates in humanitarian relief activity following natural disasters.

YORK CARE FOUNDATION

York Foundation Inc., established in 2003, supports York Care Centre's journey to becoming a Centre of Excellence in Aging Care. York Care Centre is a 214-resident nursing home in Fredericton, NB. The Foundation consists of 13 volunteers from the community who are helping to raise the profile and necessary funds for York Care Centre, which is non-profit. While the government provides operating funds and money for some capital repairs and purchases, many capital needs can not be met without the support of donations. The Board of Directors of York Foundation Inc. consists of Harold Moore, Carol Ann Hanley, Robin Rickard, Mac MacFarlane, David Jensen Sr., Mike McManus, Chipp McCrea, Doug Daley, Carol Burtt, David Hildebrand, Beth Corey and Marven Grant Harold Moore is serving as Foundation president while Carol-Ann Hanley is vice-president, and Robin Rickard is secretary/treasurer.
