Damascus Ministries & Dr Lynn and the Orphans is dedicated to sharing life giving water with the orphans in Africa. The heart of the ministry is a fierce desire to bring joy to the innocent children who can't change their circumstances by funding water wells in villages across the continent. Fresh water brings life to all who partake in the health of pure water! Founded in 2006

According to the World Health Organization, Haiti is the most water-impoverished country on the face of the Earth. They have water, it is just not safe to drink it! They are also the most economically impoverished country in the western hemisphere. They are our neighbours! We are working in Haiti through Clean Water for Haiti Foundation. We are employing Haitians to build and install bio-sand water filters for Haitians in their homes. These filters are very durable and extremely effective in filtering out all biological pathogens, producing safe, clean water from even the most contaminated sources. One bio-sand filter can produce enough clean water everyday to supply the needs of even large families. In Haiti, families can commonly be 8-12 people, sometimes more, and most of them are children. And children are always the ones most affected by water-borne illnesses. Water-borne illness is the second largest cause of death in Haiti and the #1 cause of death in children.

Tackling the water crisis by funding, supporting and advocating for community WASH (water, sanitation & hygiene) programs in Sub-Saharan Africa. Their mission is to increase awareness of WASH challenges and solutions, and most importantly convert that heightened awareness into ACTION.

The Lifesaving Society serves all Canadians by providing information and skills that promote safety in, on and around water. The Society is the Canadian authority in aquatic lifesaving education and lifeguarding. The Society is a leader and partner in the delivery of water safety education in Canada and around the world.

Their mission is to partner with people in Haiti to educate as many children as possible, provide healthcare to the children in the school, and to help their Haitian sisters and brothers to help themselves to provide safe drinking water to help break the cycle of poverty for themselves and their children. Education, healthcare, clean water and sanitation will help the Haitians improve their lives.

We work toward our mission through public education, water rescue training and education, swimming lessons, lifeguard training,first aid, and drowning research.

We fulfill this mission by: Providing food and other basic amenities to persons in need. Establishing, operating and maintaining Orphanages, Elementary and High Schools, and Training facilities for persons in need. Improving the quality of drinking water by constructing wells and water treatment, irrigation and sewage treatment systems. Developing and promoting public health by establishing, operating and maintaining Medical Clinics, for the purpose of educating and instructing the public on the prevention of, and curative measures for health problems.

CLEAN International mobilizes and evaluates innovative, sustainable solutions to sanitation and water-related needs in order to improve the quality of life, overall health, and educational and economic opportunities of individuals worldwide.

CAPD promotes leadership development, organizational strengthening, and participation of people in the community. Our program areas are health and rehabilitation, education assistance for low-income children, and safe water technology. We work in Colombia, South America.
