The Sisters of Mercy established St. Patrick’s Mercy Home Foundation in November 1998. The Foundation was created to support the on-going efforts of St. Patrick’s Mercy Home to provide a comfortable and home-like atmosphere for all of its residents. A dedicated, volunteer Board of Directors manages the Foundation, which has a part-time staff person. The Foundation Office is located on the First Floor at St. Patrick’s Mercy Home and is open from 9:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m., Monday to Thursday. The Office is closed on Fridays.

ONE CARE is a community-based, charitable, not-for-profit health organization providing supportive care to families in Huron and Perth Counties and surrounding area. For over 40 years we’ve been committed to providing quality services that enable or extend the ability of seniors and persons with disabilities to remain safely in their homes and active in their communities.
Our home is a three story house, located in the heart of Winnipeg, close to ammenities, clinics, and other HIV resources. We live as a family, housing 10 persons, each in their own room with several common areas to gather. We provide 24 hour staffing. Our desire is to share mercy, hope, dignity and peace - enhancing the quality of life of persons affected by HIV. The House of Hesed is committed to educating our community to help dispel the stigma and fear surrounding HIV, and lead others to a spirit of love and compassion. We encourage our community at large to participate in this ministry.
