Jack’s Corner is a nonprofit organization dedicated to improving the quality of life and finding a cure for children with SPG50 through the acceleration of gene therapy treatments, funding of research, and raising awareness of the disease.SPG50 is an ultra-rare neurodegenerative disease that affects children. The disease causes spasticity that starts in chldren's legs, slowly taking away their ability to walk. The spasticity then takes away their ability to use their hands, and ultimately, their mental capacity.

We are home to 270 residents, 100 Community Day Program participants, 500 volunteers, families, friends, students, and over 500 staff. Ours is a community of people with normal aspirations, dreams and a desire to live life to the fullest. At Sherbrooke, residents work, play, worship, paint, garden, volunteer. CASEY HOUSE FOUNDATION

Casey House is a specialty hospital with community programming including home care and outreach programs. Founded in 1988, we were the first freestanding HIV/AIDS hospice in Canada. We rely on donor funding to provide our community programs, which include the Home Hospice Program, nursing, counselling, complementary therapies including massage, recreation therapy, child care for HIV-positive parents and the Resident Care and Comfort Fund.

McCormick Care Foundation

McCormick Home, a WCA organization, is a fully accredited not-for-profit charitable long-term care home that has served London and area for over 100 years. We provide care for those who are no longer able to live safely and independently in the community. Our Home creates an environment that encourages residents to be as active, independent and as involved in life as much as they are able. We also offer the Alzheimer Outreach Services (AOS) community based program which provides individualized recreational therapeutic activities designed to bring out the best in all clients. The Day Program is offered 7 days a week. Family and educational support programs are also available for caregivers and clients.

St. Paul's Hospital is recognized provincially, nationally and internationally for a number of specialty programs and services. Some are not available anywhere else in BC. As a 500-bed academic health centre affiliated with the University of B.C., the hospital serves patients from across the province, as well as the residents, businesses and visitors in Vancouver’s heavily populated downtown core. St. Paul’s also has a longstanding history of providing care to disadvantaged populations on the city’s Downtown Eastside. St. Paul's also plays a critical role in the education of physicians, nurses and other health professionals and is a major health research facility. St. Paul’s is part of Providence Health Care, Canada’s largest Catholic health care organization.
