JDRF's mission is to find a cure for type 1 diabetes and its complications through the support of research. It is also committed to developing new and better treatments that improve the lives of people with type 1 diabetes in the near term and keep them healthy while we advance toward a cure. JDRF’s promise is to progressively remove the impact of T1D from the lives of those living with the disease until it is no longer a threat to them or their families. Race to Erase MS is dedicated to the treatment and ultimate cure of Multiple Sclerosis. Funding research is the core focus of the Foundation and all funds raised support our Center Without Walls program, a selected network of the nation's top MS research centers. This nationwide collaboration of physicians and scientists are on the cutting-edge of innovative research programs, working as a team on therapeutic approaches to eradicate MS. In addition to combating MS through research in a clinical environment, we hope to increase awareness by educating the public about this mystifying disease.

The QEII Foundation is a non-profit, charitable organization established to strengthen the QEII Health Sciences Centre’s ability to provide health care of the highest quality for Atlantic Canada. The Foundation’s goal is to lead the spirit of philanthropy to enrich health care for Atlantic Canadians, and in the process help support the health sciences centre’s quest to become a world-leading haven for patient centred health and healing. The QEII Foundation supports excellence in patient care through the purchase of advanced patient technology, the promotion of in-service education and the advancement of medical research by fostering goodwill in the community. With over 1,600 funds and assets totaling $930 million, Vancouver Foundation is Canada's largest community foundation. Each year, Vancouver Foundation and its donors make more than 5,300 grants, totaling approximately $50 million to registered charities across Canada. Since it was founded in 1943, Vancouver Foundation, in partnership with its donors, has distributed more than $1 billion to thousands of community projects and programs. Established in 1970, the Miriam Foundation supports rehabilitative, vocational, residential services and programs that foster increased socialization and community integration for children and adults living with intellectual disabilities or autism spectrum disorders. The Foundation, through the Lou Greenberg association also owns and manages 19 adapted community homes which offer a caring and supportive environment and promote inclusion. The Miriam Foundation also supports educational initiatives of a national scope through its Abe Gold Learning & Research Centre, including conferences and training and a bilingual national web portal (Autism Central). The Miriam Foundation publishes Exceptional Family, a national resource magazine for Parents and caregivers of children with cognitive and physical special needs. The Miriam Foundation also funds the Trampoline Programme, an early intensive therapeutic programme for children with an autism spectrum disorder or a developmental disability.

Has a mission that is dedicated to achieving economic and social justice for all deaf people by providing financial, educational and social opportunities to end the economic exploitation of deaf people. The foundation envisions a world free of audism where everyone experiences full humanity and celebrates sign language. To achieve the mission and vision, the foundation focuses on four goals: consulting, outreach, networking and grants. Grants are the primary goal and the heart of the foundation and funding is provided for those areas: arts, activism, education, media, and research.

The ACT Foundation is the national charitable organization that is establishing CPR and defibrillator training programs in Canadian high schools.

The Scholarship Foundation was established in 1993 as a registered charitable organization and renamed the Lampe Foundation in 2010. It aims to support the education of men and women in our community and to encourage continuation of studies. We believe that educating people enables them to contribute meaningfully to our society, both in their chosen career and their family life.

The RCMP Foundation (formerly known as the Mounted Police Foundation) is a registered charitable organization). Since its introduction in 1994 the RCMP Foundation has donated over $9 million dollars directly to Canadian community groups to support hundreds of initiatives for the benefit of youth at risk. Future prospects for thousands of less-fortunate Canadian youth look brighter, thanks to RCMP Foundation support of programs implemented by local community groups and the ongoing voluntarily services of RCMP members throughout our Nation. These programs create awareness and prevention of drug and alcohol abuse, bullying, violence and suicide and are complemented by the development of like skills, self-esteem and confidence, all tools to help fulfill the desire for a better life for Canada's youth at-risk.
