At the Calgary Sexual Health Centre we believe that sexuality is a natural and healthy part of life. Healthy sexual relationships are based on trust, respect and equality. We work for the right of all people to get information that helps them make choices and decisions about their sexuality. We support their right to decide when, and if, to have children.

The charity seeks to provide high quality, accessible services to help these children redefine what is possible, achieve their potential, and play a meaningful role in their families and communities. Thrive Malawi partners with Children of Blessing Trust (COBT) in Lilongwe Malawi to achieve these goals by funding a Children’s Rehabilitation Program, an Integrated Pre-School, a Special Education Program and a Nutrition Program.

Our goal is to pursue our mission with commitment so that future generations can live in a world with more caring and peace.

EKFH is located in the south east corner of British Columbia. The foundation presently stewards over 30+ funds in trust for hospital, health care facilities, residential care homes and programs guided by the Interior Health Authority. It serves the communities of Elkford, Sparwood, Fernie, Jaffray, Cranbrook, Kimberley, Invermere, Canal Flats, Radium, Golden and Creston. EKFH is a public charitable foundation and registered British Columbia Society. It is governed by a volunteer board of directors.

The Foundation's story began in 1996 when it was incorporated as a registered charity. Since its creation, the Foundation has actively worked in partnership with the Alexandra Marine & General Hospital. The goal is to ensure that quality health care is available to the residents of Huron County and neighboring communities. Due to the generosity of its donors and volunteers, the Foundation has evolved to become a well respected organization in the region. The Foundation has always worked hard to maintain the trust of the community.

The New Jersey Firemen’s Home – established in 1898 – is the ONLY licensed health care facility in the State of New Jersey whose primary mission is dedicated to the men and women of the New Jersey Fire Service. Located on the historic Lathrop Estates in Boonton, NJ – the Firemen’s Home provides both long term care and residential health care services. Providing outstanding service – delivered by a loyal and caring staff - has made the Firemen’s Home a TRUSTED and RESPECTED choice for many of New Jersey’s Bravest.

Spinal Cord Injury BC’s Peer Support Program helps people with spinal cord injuries, and related disabilities, overcome the challenges of living in a wheelchair by building communities of support throughout British Columbia. SCI BC Information Services is the trusted resource for people with spinal cord injury and their support teams including family and friends, health professionals and community workers. We operate a toll free line, a comprehensive online resource centre, and customized one-to-one support.

We have forged partnerships with amazing Ethiopian NGO’s who are, like us, committed to providing a “hand up” not a “handout”. Beneficiaries of the programs contribute in some form providing local resources, labour, expertise, and wisdom in order to ensure local ownership and thereby sustainability We undertake all our activities with a sense of Joy and Gladness ever mindful of the trust that has been placed in our ability to keep our administration to a bare minimum and make use of each donation to effect real results “in the field”.

PLAN Calgary - The Road Ahead Society was established in response to the needs of families with disabled children and adults. We support families in three broad areas: 1. The establishment of a secure future in very practical ways, such as finances (trusts, estates and will planning etc.) and housing and home ownership. 2. Promotion and development of enduring circles of support, the facilitation of meaningful relationships – people who look out for the interests of the person in the way a family might. 3. Developing long term partnerships with foundations and companies in the Calgary area to build a sustainable future for our members.
