Maya's Music Therapy Fund seeks to empower people with developmental disabilities to increase autonomy, build community, and expand artistic expression through music therapy, while improving their physical, social, and cognitive skills. Maya's Music Therapy Fund serves people with developmental disabilities in the San Francisco Bay Area.

Since 1988, H.E.A.R., Hearing Education and Awareness For Rockers, mission is dedicated to the prevention of hearing loss and tinnitus. We cater particularly to the population most vulnerable to potential noise induced hearing loss ––young music lovers, musicians, DJs and their audiences and others in the music and entertainment industry––but extend our education, awareness, and advocacy to people from all walks of life. In addition to awareness, education and advocacy work, we provide music-hearing services in San Francisco and a directory of partners for other locales. In everything that we do, we strive to ensure that hearing conservation becomes part of every music education and music lifestyle. H.E.A.R. wants you and your loved ones to enjoy music, and the pleasure of hearing, for a long, long time.

DEAAF, Deaf Education & Arts for African Families, is a not-for-profit organization committed to providing much needed schooling to deaf children within the African continent. Our goal is to provide education, assist in poverty and hunger alleviation, and encourage the local community and government to become actively involved to ensure deaf children have an educational future that is often taken for granted in more well developed countries.

Through education and outreach we support those affected by Lewy body dementias, and promote research for a cure.

Every 14 seconds, a child is orphaned by AIDS in sub-Saharan Africa. Nyumbani serves these abandoned children in Kenya, providing a loving home, medical services and community-based care in the slum communities of Nairobi. Nyumbani Village is a self-sustaining community to serve orphans and elders who have been left behind by the "lost generation" of the AIDS pandemic.
