Bridge to Türkiye Fund (BTF) was founded in 2003 by a few like-minded Turkish-Americans and friends of Türkiye with the simple desire to give back. BTF is founded on citizen-based, democratic and secular principles and encourages all to contribute to the educational welfare of less fortunate children in Türkiye. Based in the Triangle area of North Carolina, BTF grew all across the US over two decades, with many regional giving circles, and today has individual donors and supporting communities in all parts of the globe. Our focus areas are: Enabling equality and equity in education Improving physical and mental health with an emphasis on future generations Disaster relief, recovery and resilience Preservation of natural life and enivronmental sustainability Our simple and shared vision is to unite people and give back as a community. It is an organized attempt to leverage individual diaspora resources who believe in the power of investing together for education and building better futures for disadvantaged youth in Türkiye. BTF maintains a portfolio of carefully vetted Turkish NGOs and localized projects to accomplish its mission. At Valley Center for the Blind we join together in a spirit of dedication to assist blind and visually impaired persons in experiencing a more independent and opportunity filled life. These efforts are achieved through specialized methods of training and education provided by our professional staff. We believe that every individual, regardless of disability, can accomplish their desired goals provided the proper instruction and support. With over 40 years of experience, Valley Center for the Blind believes that every individual should have the opportunity to live independently and we teach adaptive techniques to make this a possibility for the visually impaired. Our primary goal is to support each and every client that walks through our doors. Whether it be educational support from our classes, emotional assistance from our counselors, or a new camaraderie found in one of our activities. We aspire to serve anyone dealing wtih vision loss and vision impairment by helping them reestablish independence, build confidence, and find new ways to enjoy life!

The mission of the Noah's Hope – Hope4Bridget Foundation is to raise funds in support of scientific research, and inform the community about Batten Disease. Batten Disease is a rare, fatal autosomal recessive neurodegenerative disorder that begins in childhood.

Tackling the water crisis by funding, supporting and advocating for community WASH (water, sanitation & hygiene) programs in Sub-Saharan Africa. Their mission is to increase awareness of WASH challenges and solutions, and most importantly convert that heightened awareness into ACTION.

TAAF is dedicated to bettering the lives, support networks, and medical care of those affected by aneurysm and other types of vascular malformation of the brain. In support of that mission, we have three primary goals that guide foundation activities: Provide support, including information, resources and motivation, for people with aneurysm and other types of vascular malformation of the brain, their families, caregivers and friends. Promote education and awareness in the community regarding aneurysm and other types of vascular malformation of the brain. Provide encouragement and funding for research on aneurysm and other types of vascular malformation of the brain in an effort to advance patient treatment and care.

One Mind funds and accelerates collaborative scientific research, partnerships, and programs to improve brain and mental health outcomes. The San Diego Brain Tumor Foundation serves the local community by providing funds to patients and their families who are coping with the daily stresses and difficulties of a brain tumor diagnosis. Through generous donations and our fundraising efforts, we can provide a variety of essential services to the brain tumor community.

We are committed to increasing Alzheimer’s and Dementia awareness. Our mission is to raise private funding for Alzheimer’s research with the goal of eradicating the disease by the year 2020. We strive to serve as a resource for those suffering from this disease and provide an opportunity for the masses to share “their story” of how Alzheimer’s has affected their loved ones.

Nothing But Nets is a global grassroots campaign to raise awareness, funds, and voices to fight malaria. In 2006, sports columnist Rick Reilly wrote a column in Sports Illustrated challenging each of his readers to donate at least $10 to send insecticide-treated bed nets to protect families from malaria-carrying mosquitoes.

Vulvar cancer reported cases is rising. The American Cancer Society estimates that in year 2021: 6120 new cases of vulvar cancer will result in 1,550 deaths. Each day, in the United States alone, this equates to: 17 new diagnoses, and 4 deaths, per day. It is estimated, in the United States alone = 1 in 333 women will succumb to VULVAR CANCER in their lifetime!The Suzanne Lee Prince Foundation MISSION:- to empower all women to be PROACTIVE with their health care through education about this undiscussed and forgotten cancer. The Suzanne Lee Prince Foundation is a 100% volunteer unsalaried board member organization. 100% of all funds generated are spent on operation costs like printing, mailing, phone fees, website maintenance.
