Mission Statement: Breast and GYN Health Project is a grassroots community resource for those facing breast or gynecologic cancer concerns. We promote healthy survivorship through information, hope, and healing support, while encouraging each person to become their own best medical advocate. We advocate within our community to address breast and gynecologic cancer concerns responsibly and holistically. We are cancer survivors and support persons healing through service and bearing witness to others.

DAWG Nation Hockey Foundation is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit charity which believes in the power of ice hockey to benefit both able-bodied and disabled amateur ice hockey players, and their families dealing with crisis. We strive to give everyone opportunity to gain independence and confidence they need to perform in the face of adversity, on or off the ice. With the fantastic support of the ice hockey community we host and sponsor participation for athletes in a variety of national and international amateur ice hockey events, and we also provide aid and support to deserving candidates, in times of need. Wigs for Kids provides hair replacement systems to children under the age of 18 who have lost their hair as a result of medical treatments, health conditions, or burn accidents. When children lose their hair, whether as a result of medical treatments, health conditions or burn accidents, they don't just suffer physically. The change in their appearance can drastically undermine their self-image and sabotage their self-esteem. To help heal the pain of these struggles, Certified Cosmetic Therapist Jeffrey Paul founded Wigs for Kids, a nonprofit organization that has been serving children suffering from hair loss since 1981. Wigs for Kids is a cooperative effort among Certified Cosmetic Therapists throughout North America who share a common goal. “Children shouldn’t have to worry about how they look, especially when they’re in the middle of a health crisis,” says Jeffrey Paul. “We want to give these kids the opportunity to feel good about themselves again.” The value of all children’s wigs Hair Replacements is $1,800. “These are custom-made Hair Replacements,” says Jeffrey Paul. “Each prosthesis is hand-tied and is made completely from human hair. We make sure they look just like a child’s own hair.” “They won’t come off on the baseball field or in the playground,” he adds. “Kids can count on them. And because kids look just the way they did before, they feel better about themselves. They look in the mirror and their eyes light up. To see that light in their eyes … that’s priceless.”

Working in partnership with the Rwandan Ministry of Health, and the Rwanda Heart Foundation, TeamHeart will address the burden of cardiac disease: Through surgical development trips, TeamHeart will address the suffering of adolescents and young adults afflicted with advanced rheumatic heart disease in Rwanda with life saving surgical intervention. To work with the medical and nursing staff Rwanda to build a sustainable regional center of excellence in cardiac care. To increase the identification of disease though capacity building, provide appropriate post operative follow up care. To prevent advanced rheumatic heart disease through a combined effort of surveillance, prevention, education and early intervention as an example of effective countrywide intervention against rheumatic heart disease that can inspire replication in sub-Saharan Africa.

Life Health and Wellness Center was created to serve the homeless men, women and families. Our providers also serve Veterans and victims of Human Trafficking. Our clinic does not discriminate against race, color, sex, religion, sexual orientation, or ability to pay. We are a group of health care providers that provide family medicine to our patients. Many of our patients do not have health care but they do have chronic illnesses that have not been treated in years. We have contracts with the local universities and provide clinical education to students for Primary Care clinical rotations. The student are taught use evidence based methods to assess, diagnosis and treat patients and also educate patients about their current condition. We are also developing ways to sign patients up with insurance so they can become compliant with medications and therapies ordered to maintain positive health outcomes.

Grains of Good Foundation is a 501(c)(3) based in California, USA. Grains of Good was created with the goal of helping a vulnerable group of children: special-needs children with neurodevelopmental disorders from low-income families or orphanages in Russia and former Soviet republics. The funds mostly go towards palliative care, rehabilitation programs, and adaptive technology products and equipment. There are children with neurological disorders in every country of the world. All they need to flourish and to have a normal childhood is a bit of extra support - medical, educational, moral, financial. In Russia and the former Soviet republics, such kids often lack such support. They live in a society that is largely unable or unwilling to accept - let alone help - them, in a system that does not have the resources to support them. Some extra services or treatments might be available, but the parents don't have the money to pay for them - they can't earn it while their children are at home, with no childcare centers or schools available for them.

The Tivoli Fund supports organizations with a focus on improving lives. This fund will split donations evenly between No Dogs Left Behind, One Mission, World Central Kitchen, GLAD, and One Tree Planted. No Dogs Left Behind is a leader in global animal rescue. Through international alliances and local resources, we engage in every step of rescue. From emergency response to dog adoption, No Dogs Left Behind stands by our survivors every step of the way. One Mission programs make living in the hospital less lonely and stressful, bring back joy in a time of fear and uncertainty, and give kids and their loved ones the support they need to get through the emotional and financial challenges of treatment. World Central Kitchen uses the power of food to nourish communities and strengthen economies through times of crisis and beyond. Through strategic litigation, public policy advocacy, and education, GLBTQ Legal Advocates & Defenders (GLAD) works in New England and nationally to create a just society free of discrimination based on gender identity and expression, HIV status, and sexual orientation. Lori Hartwell founded Renal Support Network (RSN) in 1993 to empower people who have kidney disease to become knowledgeable about their illness, proactive in their care, hopeful about their future and make friendships that last a lifetime. Lori was diagnosed in 1968 with kidney failure and knows how important hope, peer connection and knowledge is to survive and thrive with an illness. RSN’s hopeful and life-enriching, non-medical programs help people who have kidney disease and their families, whether they are in the early stages of the disease, are on dialysis, or have received a transplant. People we connect with come to see kidney disease in a totally different light – that although it’s difficult, it is manageable. We help them recognize the need to take control of the course and management of their illness through storytelling. Learning from another patient’s experience and point of wisdom to live successfully and navigate care is vital for success. An Illness is too demanding when you do not have hope. RSN strives to make a lasting and positive difference in the lives of people with kidney disease and ensure that healthcare professionals and regulatory agencies legislative leaders that serve us hear what our needs are to have the best care and health possible.

In 2000, Episcopal priest Bill Rankin and renowned neurosurgeon Dr. Charlie Wilson launched GAIA to increase health equity globally and to bring life-saving treatment to one of the countries most impacted by the AIDS epidemic. Today, with GAIA’s support, Malawi is one of the first African countries to meet UNAIDS 2020 90-90-90 treatment targets, even in the most remote districts with the highest HIV prevalence, where we work. Throughout our history, GAIA has adapted our services to provide compassionate, patient-centered healthcare. We meet the immediate needs of the population by providing community-based health services and health education while also strengthening Malawi's healthcare workforce for the long-term by accelerating health workforce development and promoting equitable deployment of frontline providers. In 2007, GAIA Malawi was formally established as an independent, but closely aligned, entity to the U.S. organization. With its own self-selected Board of Directors and a 100% Malawian staff, GAIA Malawi works closely with GAIA U.S. to design and execute cost-effective program responses to the evolving health needs of Malawi’s rural population. All program interventions are developed with key input from the communities served and executed in partnership with the Government of Malawi, Ministry of Health and Population, and local and international partners. GAIA believes that everyone deserves access to quality healthcare, no matter where they live or who they are.
