We are an organization created by parents of children diagnosed with rare forms of Epilepsy and Autism as a result of a change in the SCN2A gene. Our vision is to find effective treatments and a cure for SCN2A related disorders. Our mission is to improve the lives of those affected by SCN2A related disorders through research, public awareness, family support and patient advocacy. We are a registered 501(c)(3) organization.

The Decibels Foundation's mission is to provide specialized early intervention, educational services, family support, and access to essential technologies for children with hearing loss from infancy through high school. Founded in 2009, The Grassroot Project (TGP) uses the power of sports and the platform of athlete role models to educate, inspire, and mobilize youth to live healthy lives. We are a team of more than 1,000 NCAA varsity athletes and 5,000 DC teens who are committed to making our city healthier. The Grassroot Project capitalizes on the excitement, relatability, and popularity of sports to provide much-needed health literacy and social empowerment programs to DC teens. The only way for us to succeed is to believe in the power of youth to make a difference. In addition to providing health education to DC teens, we invest in the leadership training, cultural competency, and professional skills of hundreds of NCAA varsity athletes who serve as our program facilitators. THE PATRICK BEAUREGARD FOUNDATION IS A NON-PROFIT ORGANIZATION DEDICATED TO BEATING COLORECTAL CANCER, PARTICULARLY AMONG YOUNG ADULTS UNDER THE AGE OF 50.

Going Beyond the Pink works to empower people affected by breast cancer by providing practical education, patient navigation, local support services (care bags, wigs/prosthetics), workshops, and targeted financial assistance. MHI was created to level the healthcare playing field by promoting, educating and ensuring equal healthcare access and treatment for underserved and vulnerable communities. A non-proft 501(3) organization, MHI provides a holistic, full circle life approach to healing and wellness by focusing on the participation, education, and training of adults as well as offering hands-on enrichment and STEAMH career experiences to aspiring and promising young people in the community
