The Granada House mission is to help residents live productively and achieve long term recovery. We use a holistic approach; physical, mental, and spiritual with a strong emphasis on social inclusion with regards to racial, ethnic, socio-economic status, disability, health, and sexual orientation. Ours is a dynamic, nurturing community that responds to individual needs, as it endorses mutual understanding and respect.

The Eisenhower IKE Center, founded in 1964, is among the largest Vocational Rehabilitation Centers for Adults with Disabilities in the United States. The Center has grown to embody the opportunity for those told of their limits, to dream of new possibilities. To strive for both physical and financial independence through mentored training with the ability to work for a paycheck and a fuller life with meaning for themselves and the greater community.

Brother, Help Thyself Inc. (BHT) is a community based organization that provides financial and other support to non-profit organizations serving the LGBTQ and HIV/AIDS communities in the Baltimore/Washington, D.C. metro area. Brother, Help Thyself was founded in 1978 by four gay motorcycle clubs and is one of the first organizations in the United States to provide funding for LGBTQ health, cultural, and social services. The first fund drive by the capital area board of leather and Levi motorcycle clubs raised $4,518. BHT was formed to award that grant to the gay men’s vd clinic which was having financial difficulties at that time. During the past 38 years, we have raised and distributed over $3 million to more than 130 groups in our community. Brother Help Thyself raises funds throughout the year and then disburses direct and matching funds, partners with grantees on fundraisers and other events, acts as a clearinghouse for donated goods and services, and serves as an information resource to the LGBTQ community.

Based in the Triangle area of North Carolina, BTF grew all across the US over two decades, with many regional giving circles, and today has individual donors and supporting communities in all parts of the globe. Our focus areas are: Enabling equality and equity in education Improving physical and mental health with an emphasis on future generations Disaster relief, recovery and resilience Preservation of natural life and enivronmental sustainability Our simple and shared vision is to unite people and give back as a community. It is an organized attempt to leverage individual diaspora resources who believe in the power of investing together for education and building better futures for disadvantaged youth in Türkiye. The mission of Dreamcatchers Empowerment Network is to provide assessments, job preparation, job placement and job coaching to youth and adults with limitations and disabilities. Dreamcatchers Empowerment Network is dedicated to serving individuals in a collaborative manner, with a network of other agencies. Dreamcatchers services are directed at assisting individuals to prepare for, choose, obtain, and retain employment. Services are tailored to an individual's strengths, resources, priorities, needs, abilities, interests and informed choices.

Tackling the water crisis by funding, supporting and advocating for community WASH (water, sanitation & hygiene) programs in Sub-Saharan Africa. Their mission is to increase awareness of WASH challenges and solutions, and most importantly convert that heightened awareness into ACTION.

The mission of The WOW Center (WOW) is to improve the lives of individuals with developmental disABILITIES by providing specialized training, activities, and experiences that empower them. WOW is focused on helping individuals become independent, active, employed, and socially responsible members of the community. WOW provides life and work skills training, art program, fitness classes, daily field trips out into the community, and a music therapy program, and much more. All activities are designed to reinforce pre-selected goals chosen by the individuals and increase their independence and understanding of their role within the community.

Step Up of St. Louis is committed to creating an environment in our area that will support prevention of underage substance misuse. The current federal Drug Free Communities funding allows us to focus on the South County area of St. Louis County and serve the greater St. Louis area when possible.

Rebuilding Together Howard County mission is: repairing homes, revitalizing communities and rebuilding lives. We are committed to improving the lives of the elderly, individuals with disabilities, veterans, and families with children; all homeowners in Howard County who have worked hard, but can no longer afford to keep up with repairs. Today, the need is even greater in the midst of the difficult economic climate. Rebuilding Together Howard County has repaired and renovated over 880 homes in Howard County- at no cost to the homeowner. We are committed to making sure that everyone in Howard County lives in a safe home and safe community.
