Rebuilding Together Howard County mission is: repairing homes, revitalizing communities and rebuilding lives. We are committed to improving the lives of the elderly, individuals with disabilities, veterans, and families with children; all homeowners in Howard County who have worked hard, but can no longer afford to keep up with repairs. Today, the need is even greater in the midst of the difficult economic climate. Rebuilding Together Howard County has repaired and renovated over 880 homes in Howard County- at no cost to the homeowner. We are committed to making sure that everyone in Howard County lives in a safe home and safe community.
Nothing But Nets is a global grassroots campaign to raise awareness, funds, and voices to fight malaria. In 2006, sports columnist Rick Reilly wrote a column in Sports Illustrated challenging each of his readers to donate at least $10 to send insecticide-treated bed nets to protect families from malaria-carrying mosquitoes.
Vulvar cancer reported cases is rising. The American Cancer Society estimates that in year 2021: 6120 new cases of vulvar cancer will result in 1,550 deaths. Each day, in the United States alone, this equates to: 17 new diagnoses, and 4 deaths, per day. It is estimated, in the United States alone = 1 in 333 women will succumb to VULVAR CANCER in their lifetime!The Suzanne Lee Prince Foundation MISSION:- to empower all women to be PROACTIVE with their health care through education about this undiscussed and forgotten cancer. The Suzanne Lee Prince Foundation is a 100% volunteer unsalaried board member organization. 100% of all funds generated are spent on operation costs like printing, mailing, phone fees, website maintenance.
