The foundation’s work has centered on preserving, caring for, and using the AIDS Memorial Quilt to foster healing, raise awareness about HIV/AIDS, and inspire public action and education. It historically coordinated quilt displays, conservation and panel‑making programs and managed the Quilt’s archives while supporting related public exhibits.
