The sole mission of the Foundation and its 25-member board of directors is to raise, manage and distribute funds to assure the continued availability of quality healthcare services and programs. While the name is specific to Skagit Valley Hospital, reflecting it's roots as a hospital foundation, the Skagit Valley Hospital Foundation has funds that support programs and healthcare services across the Skagit Regional Health system.

Friends of Prentice is a nonprofit organization that works in partnership with Northwestern Medicine Prentice Women’s Hospital to fund innovative and leading-edge research in women’s health.

Nearly five years ago, Boston was changed forever when a beautiful Marathon Monday turned into a senseless tragedy. Gillian Reny, then a high school senior, was one of the 39 critically injured patients rushed to Brigham and Women’s Hospital (BWH), where doctors and nurses saved her life and both of her legs. In gratitude to BWH, the Reny family established The Gillian Reny Stepping Strong Center for Trauma Innovation with a mission of transforming outcomes for civilian and military heroes worldwide who have suffered devastating traumatic injuries. To date, the center has raised more than $12 million. But much more needs to be done. Although trauma accounts for 41 million emergency department visits a year, funding for trauma research and care remains scarce. When you support a member of the 2018 BWH Stepping Strong Marathon Team, you are helping BWH turn tragedy into hope for trauma patients like Gillian so they can regain their strength and ability to step strong once again. In Malawi maternal and infant mortality rates are among the highest in the world. Hospitals and clinics are severely understaffed, which means that even when critically ill women and children reach a facility in time to save their lives many still do not receive the care they need. And, once they leave the hospital they receive no ongoing support. This is a huge problem and we are a small organization doing what we can in this environment. We support the provision of home based nursing care to high risk postpartum women and babies. We offer high quality personalized care to the women and babies enrolled in our programs, we strive to involve families and communities, and we hold up the truth that even a small difference is a significant difference especially when made with compassion and love.

The Edward Foundation is the charitable fundraising arm of Edward Hospital and Health Services. It raises funds to help Edward Hospital and Health Services provide the highest quality services, technology, and staff to the communities it serves.

HackensackUMC is a 775-bed, not for-profit tertiary care, teaching and research hospital serving Northern New Jersey and the New York metro area. Affiliated with the University of Medicine and Dentistry of New Jersey, New Jersey Medical School, HackensackUMC is the largest provider of inpatient and outpatient services in the state of New Jersey. Annually, the foundation receives more than 10,000 charitable gifts and raises more than $10 million to help support vital programs and services at HackensackUMC. The foundation has also provided funding of more than $100 million for special and capital projects over the past several years.
