The heart of Catholic Medical Center is to provide health, healing, and hope in a manner that offers innovative high quality services, compassion, and respect for the human dignity of every individual who seeks or needs our care as part of Christ's healing ministry through the Catholic Church.CMC is a not for profit, tax exempt licensed 330 bed full service hospital. A medical staff of over 600 physicians provides care to the residents of New Hampshire, concentrating on the greater Manchester area.

Motivated by the inherent worth of each individual and our great care for the people of Haiti, the Saint Rock Haiti Foundation works side by side with the people of Saint Rock and the surrounding rural communities to enhance their lives through: Providing quality primary health care; Helping children and young adults access valuable education opportunities; Instituting community outreach programs that support economic sustainability; Investing in infrastructure to support overall health; and Empowering members of the community to advocate for their rights in the future. We recognize that through our on-going collaboration with the Haitian government and non-governmental organizations, we will support the shared goal of greater self-sufficiency.

NAM's mission is to meet basic human needs through neighbors helping neighbors. NAM is a community based, multi-program social service agency established in 1983 which is supported by 50 congregations, 17 service organizations, and over 170 business community partners. Guided by a relatively small staff of 85, more than 2,700 volunteers work together to provide a variety of basic services to our neighbors in need throughout the Houston area. More than 50% of those helped by this effort are children.

Harvard Street Neighborhood Health Center, Inc. (HSNHC) is a Federally Qualified Health Center providing health care without regard to race, sex, color, national origin, or ability to pay. HSNHC addresses the physical and behavioral health needs of families and children living primarily in the Dorchester, Mattapan, and Roxbury neighborhoods of Boston. The Health Center serves as a primary source for health education and works with the community to identify and put into action needed health services and works with community groups to ensure the well-being of the communities it serves. It is HSNHC's core belief that high quality health care delivered in a dignified manner should be made available, accessible, and affordable to all people as a right, rather than a privilege.

Fox Chase's mission is to reduce the burden of human cancer through the pursuit of knowledge in basic biological research; to conduct research specifically related to cancer causes, prevention, and treatment; and to apply this knowledge to the prevention of cancer and the treatment of cancer patients. Fox Chase has the oldest and third-largest cancer center support grant from the National Cancer Institute and is the oldest cancer specialty hospital in the nation. In January 2000, Fox Chase opened the nation's first facility devoted to comprehensive cancer prevention research. One Heart World-Wide (OHW) is a 501(c)(3) organization with over 15 years of experience implementing maternal and neonatal mortality prevention programs in areas where women often die alone at home giving birth. Our aim is to improve access to, and utilization of healthcare services to reduce the risk of maternal and neonatal mortality in the most remote, rural areas. We believe that all women and newborns can receive the quality healthcare services they deserve during pregnancy and childbirth, anytime and anyplace. Maternal and perinatal mortality are considered key indicators for health and development. OHW specializes in improving the access to, and the delivery of essential healthcare services in regions where the need is the greatest. We work in remote areas with the lowest human development indexes, where other organizations rarely operate. Pregnant women in these high-risk regions are often faced with little to no access to medical care. Socio-cultural barriers, limited personal resources, lack of information, geographical limitations, and inadequate healthcare services prevent pregnant women from receiving the essential care they need to have a safe pregnancy and childbirth. OHW addresses these barriers by improving access to healthcare services in the world's hardest to reach places. We deliver results and drive systemic change, saving lives now and in the future.

The world's poorest children are at highest risk of the world's most expensive injuries -- burns and amputations. These sudden, life-changing trauma injuries can happen in a second without warning but require a lifetime of support. The world has ample resources in the form of medical care, rehabilitation therapy, and psychosocial support for trauma survivors, but it is not getting to the children who need it most. HandReach is working to bring together the best hands in the world to promote healing, rehabilitation, and the full development of human potential among the world's poorest and most badly-injured children. HandReach works at three levels: 1) Individuals: We facilitate the sharing of best practices across countries and institutions by educating clinicians, therapists, parents, and healers of all kinds. We also work to bring acute, reconstructive, and psychosocial care to children who are in great need of surgery or rehabilitation therapy that their families cannot possibly afford. 2) Institutions: We facilitate international clinics, sponsor training, develop technological resources, and arrange for the donation of needed equipment and supplies so that institutions can maximize their ability to treat complex injuries and promote full rehabilitation for children, regardless of income. 3) Society: We advocate for the needs of the poor to promote greater access to medical care, education, safer products, building materials, and work practices, and a place in society that includes greater access and acceptance for people with physical differences. We are working to develop a free international database of best practices in pediatric burn care and orthopedic rehabilitation that allows doctors and therapists to consult across the world on cases. This online resource database will be readily translatable into any language and provide short, detailed videos that address various aspects of excellent burn and orthopedic care -- from skin grafting to splinting to prosthetics to psychological support for children and families. If a child is burned in China, for instance, her doctor can provide details about the case, consult live expert clinicians internationally, and be directed to easily downloadable videos in Chinese to share with staff and the patient's family. HandReach's work would then be to spread the word of this database and foster face-to-face contact between clinics worldwide. HandReach's dream is for there to be nowhere in the world a child can be injured that is out of reach of excellent medical care and psychosocial support.

Founded in 1965, the mission of Planned Parenthood of Northern New England (PPNNE) is to provide, promote and protect access to reproductive health and sexuality education so that all people can make voluntary choices about their reproductive and sexual health. PPNNE works to achieve its mission with a three-pronged approach which includes provision of reproductive health care services, sexuality education and professional training, and public policy work to protect and enhance reproductive rights.
