Remote Area Medical organizes and operates free, large-scale pop-up clinics (dental, vision, and general medical) to deliver no-cost, high‑volume care to uninsured, underinsured, and underserved people. The organization mobilizes volunteer medical professionals and community hosts to prevent pain and alleviate suffering by increasing access to essential healthcare.

Asniya recruits medical and allied-health students as volunteers (“Asniya interns”) to deliver hands-on health and medical education on American Indian reservations, with the goals of improving preventive health knowledge, reducing disparities (including mental-health/suicide-prevention work), and inspiring reservation youth toward careers in the health sciences. The program also gives participating interns culturally grounded clinical experience to build long‑term community health capacity.
