The mission of SSJ Health Foundation is to provide compassionate and philanthropic support for the health care ministry of the Congregation of the Sisters of St Joseph of St Augustine, Florida, to the uninsured and underserved in the Miami-Dade community. This mission is accomplished through the work of the St. John Bosco Clinic, a free clinic serving children and adults in our community. As a safety-net clinic, St. John Bosco Clinic provides primary and specialty care to those without access to health care. Our philanthropic supporters and community partners have made it possible for us to serve our community since 1992.
From the website: "American Lebanese Syrian Associated Charities (ALSAC) was founded by Danny Thomas in 1957 to be the fundraising and awareness organization for St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital, and its sole mission is to raise the funds and awareness necessary to operate and maintain the hospital. In the years ahead, an estimated 89% of the funds necessary to sustain and grow St. Jude must be raised by ALSAC from generous donors."

The Izzy Foundation provides services and support to those families with children who have debilitating diseases. Our Foundation has a unique understanding of the hardships that families go through during long hospital stays, because we have been there, too. Our founders, many of our board members, and our directors have also sat in hospital waiting rooms for days, weeks and months while our children receive exceptional care. The Foundation hopes to continue to develop spaces and programs for children with cancer and their families that will enable them to continue to live, love, laugh and play. The Izzy Foundation is a nonprofit organization [501(c)(3)] based in Providence, RI
